So loud and not all cars work

This thing is pretty loud. To be expected with this type of thing but still, pretty loud. Also not all the cars work on it, so its trial and error to figure out which hot wheels works. First order was missing a crucial piece so I had to order another one to replace it. Kids had fun with it for the first few days but now it's sitting in our basement. The traditional tracks that you can click together give them way more entertainment!

Make sure you have 4 D batteries on hand.

Goes together well but is a bit of a puzzle. Just take your time and follow the pictures carefully. (Pictures are rather small for Grandparent eyes so get your readers!)

Grandson loves it

My grandson loves hot wheels and he loved getting this for Christmas. Overall great toy, though not as easy to assemble as the T-Rex volcano hot wheels set because the instructions were printed so small they were very difficult to see and only some of the parts were lettered for easy assembly. Could improve the instructions, but the toy is great.

Fun for my son

He loves it. Takes about 30 mins to assemble. Once through it is neat watch watch the car go round and round. Not all cars work on this track so you have to try them out. Some are to big and others to small. Once you find another car that will go through it’s crash time.

So Loud

We have 3 boys, so you can imagine we have a lot of hot wheels. We have a few track builders. Those with a motor/launcher like this are so loud. This one is honestly scary shooting cars around at a very fast speed. Our toddler is terrified of it, but he is not in the recommended age range. My two older boys (9 and 7) really enjoy it. The reviews that say only a few cars run well are correct. I bet we have 200 cars and maybe 5 run well on this track. It was a pain to assemble.

An awesome track set !

Santa brought this for my 8 year old son. This was the first Hot Wheels product that worked AND lasted longer than a few hours. My son was adamant that this was what he wanted, so I caved and bought it. Pleasantly surprised with this ! Set it up Christmas morning and has been going strong ever since. Easy set up, clear instructions and awesome toy!

Not as good as looks in videos

Firstly. Instructions to set up are very very unclear. Secondly. Not very sturdy. Thirdly it takes 4 batteries which do not appear to last too long. Plus point my 3 year old nephew loves it that's why I decided to keep and not return.

Works surprisingly well

The media could not be loaded. I was extremely dubious that a car would make the launch to the top of the track, but it worked perfectly (see video with slo-mo) and the car just keeps going and going and going. My dog was watching the car the whole time. Assembly was a little complicated, but if you can follow Lego instructions then you won't have any problems. One thing is to make sure all the supports are firmly in place or else the car will miss the jump and fly off the track.

IT IS AMAZING even for an adult

I found the assembly instructions a little hard to understand and it took a while to put together but the joy of switching it on for the first time and watching cars fly by far overrides the assembly problems I had. Note some cars do not work depending on their size and configuration, some of the less conventional models get stuck easily. All in all well worth the money for the sheer enjoyment had!!

Good quality, very fun to play

My 6-year-old son loves this toy very much. He assembled the track by himself with a little help from me. He tried different hot wheels cars on this track, and of course the one came with this set was the best. The font and illustration on the instruction sheet are small and may not be easy to read by seniors, and don't forget to buy some batteries with this toy.
