Exactly what I expected
Bought two and received two different vehicles. Green SUV that changes to white in hot water, then back to green in cold. Red scorpion car that changes to orange and reveals *very* subtle red lightning bolts on top of the orange paint color. The green to white is much more dramatic. I can barely tell the difference between the red and the orange color change, but it definitely changes color. The scorpion car has a stinger that comes off and on. It’s about an inch long and could be a choking hazard for young children. Overall, I’m happy and would gladly purchase again and take the chance that we would receive different cars. You might find cheaper in a store for color change vehicles, but this was the best price I could find anywhere online. Some of the reviews mention that the colors don’t change, or that they stop working. In our experience, we did think they stopped working after a while, but it turned out that we just weren’t leaving them in the hot or cold water long enough. When we were more patient, they did change!

Doesn’t change color THAT much, but it’s cool!
I’ve gotten my son two of these color changing hot wheels; one of them barely changes color, and the other one is a subtle difference. We have a green one & a red one that he takes in the bathtub with a bowl of cold ice water, and dips it in that bowl & the warm tub water. The green one changes from dark green to yellow-green to light-green/almost white. The red one, however, barely changes to a lighter shade of red-orange. It frustrates him!! ** I’ve noticed it takes a few times transferring them between cold and warm water before they really start to change. So if you get one and it doesn’t do anything the first time, try leaving it in ice water a few mins, then dunk it in warm-hot water. Repeat until it starts to change faster! They seem more durable than regular hot wheels, which is why I feel they’re OK for the bath. They don’t seem to get water in any windows or small parts. They’re also a little heavier. Well I get another one? If I saw one in the $1 bin at the grocery store…. Maybe. Otherwise, they’re nothing special. Hope this helps! ☺️

Don't order more than one
I ordered 2 of the assorted color changer cars. Was disappointed when the order arrived and Amazon sent duplicate. The car is cool but I didn't want 2 of the same. Wish they would put more effort into filling orders.

Very confusing!
This is very confusing. It looks like you are getting a pack of cars and it even says there are 10 in the pack. I received 1 car, but I should have known that you can't get a pack of Hot Wheels cars for almost $4.00. The truck we did receive works great though. I just wish the description would have been more precise so I could have realized i needed to order more than one.

Do not buy!!! Fraud product that doesn’t work
If I had a chance I would have given zero star. Terrible product and such a disappointment. The car does not change colour in hot/cold water. I tried it in different temperature waters and still it doesn’t change. My 3 yr old son was waiting for it since the day we placed the order. It is such a disappointment to see that it doesn’t work. I am not returning it since my son is too small to understand that he’s been cheated and he’s just happy that he got a new toy car. Such a waste of money. Probably this car is an old hot wheels model that was kept for some clearance. It is not the same as the image. Though the package says that it’s a colour shifter car it’s just an ordinary hot wheels car.. not even die cast.. just a plastic hot wheels car. Terrible experience. DO NOT BUY

Works really well...with ice cold water!
We received a car called Power Rocket which changes colour from silver to bronze. To change the colour of the car properly it has to be put in ice cold water. Then to change it back you simply have to put it in warm water. Cold tap water isn't enough for it to change colour consistently so be prepared to use a lot of ice or at least keep enough water in the fridge to play with. My son loves this car and enjoyed setting up his track so that he could either jump it into a container of cold water or warm water to watch it change. Only disappointing thing is that he loves taking it in the bath but of course it doesn't change colour... unless I give him an ice bath but he's not ready for that yet! The colour shifter cars are more expensive than the regular Hot Wheels cars and the prices tend to fluctuate from day to day on Amazon so keep an eye out, but I feel I got a good deal at £4.99

Only changes with Ice Water!
My kids have been anxiously awaiting these after working to earn them, imagine their disappointment when we opened them and they didn’t change when we put them in cold tap water. Luckily I scrolled the reviews and found someone who said they changed with ice water, so got a bowl of ice and added water. Voila! Immediately changes color! My boys were so happy, but if I hadn’t read the comment about tap water not being cold enough it would have been such a disappointment and waste of money

Color shifter body is very less and not much difference in the color
The body where color changes is very less and not much difference between the original color and cold color refer my photos If the color shifter body is more it will be cool The value for money is only for hot wheel brand
