Plugged right into my 2005 Tundra OEM Harness.
Everything plugged up perfectly fine for my 2005 Tundra Access Cab but I have not tested it out yet. It's simply plug/play as described so it all should work as OEM plug worked. Quality of this plug/wiring was excellent. That said' my packaging did not seem opened but my mounting plate & screws were missing. I asked & received $4 back to cover my mounting plate cost if buying locally & I had all screws needed to mount it already so it's all good. Amazon service is outstanding thank you all. I'll update any future problems that may possibly arrive, if any ever do?

Plugs fit 2006 tundra double cab
Plugs fit 2006 Toyota Tundra double cab. Needed to widen holes on bracket to fit the existing location. Not an exact “plug and play” but couldn’t find any other options. Used to replace an existing plug that had corrosion and broken cover. This is a great replacement for my use so 5 stars

I bought Hopkins 43385 plug because its suppose to be a plug n play for Toyota 4runners. I have a 2004 Toyota 4runner V8 limited. It might be for other trims or maybe other 4th gen 4runners but it wasn't for mine. The plugs are similar. The 4 wire connector is compatible, female to male, and could connect but wiring was different. The 3 wire connector is the same connector as the vehicle side, female to female, and wiring was different. I had to cut off the connectors on my original 7-way and the new Hopkins 43385 and rewire them to get it to work. Perhaps my specific vehicle is the exception to their compatibility list, but make sure of the connectors and wire colors before buying or be ready to reqire it as I did.

Direct oem replacement on first gen tundra
Replaced the damaged oem 7 pin connector on my 2003 Toyota Tundra. The 2 connecting plugs matched the oem connections exactly so it is plug and play, bonus points for having a built in 4 pin as well so now I don’t have to use a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter anymore. Only minor issue I had was that I had to enlarge the mounting holes a little but that was an easy task. Total install time took less than 10 minutes (5 minutes of that time was spent getting dirt out of my eye because I’m an idiot and decided to go under the truck with out eye protection).

Good straight swap
I used this on a 2005 Tundra Tradesman long bed truck. Plugs right in where the stock adapter went, The length of the cable is fine and the bracket will work with the stock holes on the receiver once the holes on the bracket have been enlarged. The bracket itself is a typical Hopkins pressed steel affair that will rust out in a few years but they are easy to get. The sheathing on the cable is not as good as stock and the plastic 7 pin socket is not as robust. That said, it's still good value.

Great Product and Customer Service!
Harness arrived without mounting bracket and hardware. Guessing the harness was a return item? Hopkins Customer Service made it right without any hassle. Installation was a 5-minute breeze on a new Draw-Tight receiver.

Disappointed
This item DOES NOT FIT a 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5. The plugs on this device is the exact same as the ones it is suppose to plug into and you will therefore not be able to plug it in!!! The device was shipped quickly and received very fast. The packaging had been open previously and the screws to attach the mount (which is included) were not in the package. A quick phone call to Hopkins resulted in the screws being received a day or two later. BEWARE for a 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5, you will not have anywhere to mount the mount. You will have to attach it to the end plate of the trailer hitch or find a way to drill a hole in the other parts of the hitch. A "fashioned mount" can be made but probably not worth the trouble.
