High quality look and design for the pullout shelf

I love the high quality look and construction. The steel is durable. In the product information, it says "PB" without spelling that out near that shortened wording. It is a particle board material. The nice part is it is designed to look like real wood. I feel it lives up to that. In another part of the product information, it indicates no assembly required, but you do need to assemble it and then install the base with an electric drill/screwdriver. Tools are not included. It only takes a few minutes to assemble. You will see in the image I took, the rails that move are independent rolling. Once the base wire basket is attached, they roll out together. No instructions were included for the assembly, but it is easy to figure out the short screws are for attaching the wire basket to the base metal. And the longer ones are to attach the base to a shelf. No template is included. For some installs, you may or may not need a template. I am using mine in an independently standing wooden cabinet with thick particle board shelves inside. I am attaching it to one of the shelves, not the bottom of the cabinet. To start, I just set it inside the cabinet. I found if the cabinet isn't level, the shelf slides forward when empty. It may be worth checking with a level in any independent cabinet to ensure it is level first. I had to shim mine under the front brackets. In the image of the shelf in the cabinet, I am holding it in place because it was prior to shimming and securing it. I love it. This cabinet I have is very deep, so it is so much easier to have a pull out organizer inside. It does handle a lot of weight, that is a bonus. It mentions up to 44 pounds in the product info section online. I don't think it mentions, the base metal has 4 strips of sticky tape already attached to hold the Particle board in place. (see the picture I took showing one end with those pieces of tape next to the screw holes)

May be built better than your own cabinets!

I have two sizes of these, originally intended for under-sink in our vanity. However, these ended up in our kitchen cabinets. Since we have such limited space, these are nice for keeping things in order and allowing easy access, reducing clutter from pushing things around to find what you need. The product itself is sturdy, as I'm sure you've seen in numerous reviews. The glides are smooth as butter, and the components actually provide a nice railing/enclosure rather than just a cheap lip that things will topple over. I would recommend these for ease of access and what looks to be build quality that will last you many years. The assembly directions are not the best, so one star loss.

Nice Well-Made Drawer, Could Be Better for My Type of Install but May Be Perfect for Others

This pull out drawer is well made. The metal is not cheap and flimsy. The drawer glides out smoothly. The bottom has a nice finish and I believe it will hold up well even if liquid spilled on it because it’s a laminate type of finish. Nothing about it makes me think that, over time, it will sag or give under weight. The only issue that I have is that it sits up higher making me lose space. If the gliders had been on the sides the drawer could have sat down lower giving me more vertical space. Due to the construction of my cabinets that would have been no issue and I would have more vertical space in my cabinet. That said, if you have a cabinet that does not have room on the right and left side of the cabinet for the gliders then this is perfect as it does not take up any room on the sides at all. One other point, my cabinet does not have a lip on the bottom so it does not have to clear anything to glide out and works well, however, if your cabinet does, depending on the height, this drawer may not work without some type of alteration because, while the drawer sits up high, the gliders are not far from the bottom so it doesn’t have a lot of bottom clearance. Overall I really like this drawer. I would like it better if it sat closer to the cabinet and gave me more vertical room. Space is a premium in my kitchen and every little bit counts but making the back of the bottom cabinet more accessible is worth it! Looks very nice!

Excellent quality, easy to install

I ordered this Home Zone Living Pull Out Kitchen Cabinet Organizer to use in one of my more narrow cabinets. This pull out tray is 11 inches wide and 21 inches deep. It worked out really well inside one of my base cabinets where I store canned goods. I can now stack two can organizers inside this tray front to back, and I can now get to everything whereas before I was knocking the stacks of cans over constantly while trying to get to that one can of tomatoes or kidney beans in the back... it was driving me crazy! Not to mention the expired cans I ended up with because I couldn't see what I had in there! This pull out organizer tray solved a big problem for me and I'm very thankful. It didn't take my husband long to get it installed. The directions are very straight forward. I have a newer house with pine cabinets so it was easy to drill into and get this up and working in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this quality, helpful item that's worth every penny!

Easier access to items on in the back of a lower cabinet

I ordered four different sizes of Home Zone's cabinet organizers in an attempt to save my sanity with our lower cabinets. I've had a few cabinet organizers, and these are some of the sturdiest I've seen. The shelves aren't made of actual wood, but are made of a plastic wood grained material, like a thin composite deck board. That's okay with me, because in the event of a water leak under a sink, I'd hate for wood to be ruined. The mechanisms on which the shelves slide is smooth, easy to operate and just glides out with the shelves. Assembly is easy, though the instructions tiny. I can see fine, but really had to look closely to follow the instructions. I ordered both the 11" and 14" widths. They're both great for cabinets where you already have an upper shelf but need easier access to the lower shelf. Using it alone without a shelf on top leaves a lot of wasted space. It's still a good way make it easier to reach items in the back of the cabinet.
