Quality motion sensors!
I bought 3 of these to install on existing light fixtures. The relay that controls the light is independent of the electronics that detect motion, so the sensors can control lower voltage lighting, if required. The only complaint that I have is that the mounting stem is too short for some applications, but I was able to extend the sensor away from the fixture with a 1/2" conduit coupling, so not really a deal breaker. Very satisfied with this purchase!

No Drips
2023 VW Tiquan SE, easy install, very tight fit, after install try to get the vehicle into a warm place for 12-24 hrs to let them settle in. They are printed with a GoodYear logo, tastefully done but unnecessary. Slight increase in wind noise with windows up. Well made product, well packed. kc

Works great - Easy replacement for 20+ year old lamp post sensor
We have four driveway lamp posts: old school, cast metal, with glass pane tops that hold three candelabra bulbs each. They're wired to a house circuit by the front door to allow manual override. The motion/photo sensor has never been replaced and finally went a couple of weeks ago - at least I hoped it was just the sensor, the thought of tracing/digging up the buried power line didn't appeal to me. It took less than an hour to replace the sensor: Find and turn the circuit breaker off before you attempt this. I'll say it again: Find and turn the circuit breaker off before you attempt this. Take the entire cap of the top of the post. The wire gauge was heavy enough I could lie the cap on the side of the post while I reached in and pulled the clump of wires out. Unscrew the sensor arm at the point it contacts the post. Don't bother taking the ball joint apart. Here's a tip: don't just clip the wires from the old sensor and pull it out before wiring the new sensor, because: 1) you can use the existing wires as a guide to match the colors of the new ones 2) there's a nut inside the post that the sensor arm screws into. The old wires run through it and hold it in place. If you run the new wires through it you don't have to worry about the nut falling into the post. The connections inside my post were all done by twist cap (no soldering or taping) and the wire gauge the Heath comes with is light enough you can twist it by hand. Replace each old wire with the corresponding new one. Pull the old wires out with the old sensor (now you can clip them if you need to). Don't put the top cap back on until you reach in and hold that nut against the post and thread the new sensor arm in. It's plastic and finger-tight is fine. Replace the cap, position the sensor and turn the breaker on. The docs say the first time powering up the sensor it takes a minute and a half to calibrate. Slide the button to 'Test' - the bulbs should come on immediately and the small red LED on the front should blink intermittently. If they do, you've got juice and all that's left is playing with the positioning and selecting the time setting. We mostly use the manual override because we don't keep the light on continually at night (we use a separate door light). The switch in the house is just for the post lights, so it's usually off. To turn the lights on it's simple: "UP/DOWN, count one-two, UP" - give it a second and the lights come on and stay on until you turn the switch off. Bottom Line: Installing the Heath sensor is a DIY job that anyone with some home electronics experience (like installing light switches) can handle.

So far the best replacement sensor I have installed.
I am trying this sensor as the other replacements with the white plastic PIR cover seem to break within one year.

I think it is a hit or miss
I bought Heath Zenith S SL-5407-BZ to control LED lights in my driveway. The first one I bought would detect motion only about 20 feet away with maximum sensitivity. Very rarely it detected motion at about 30 feet. I decided to do a swap and the second one I received was really good. It sometimes even detect motion at about 60 feet away which was plenty for my needs. One piece of advice based on my previous experience is do not install this where it rains. Water will get accumulated inside and it will eventually ruin the electronics inside. I even tried sealing the gap with no luck. I have installed this under the soffit now. Hopefully it will last.

Works but Flaws
The Unit wires up easily and the addition of labels on the wires makes it perfect for someone not comfortable with working with Electric and switches. I didnt have a test function on my old one and that was a great feature. The problem comes with the quality of the unit itself. I passed on less expensive models because this was a known brand and I expected more. For what I got .. I should have saved a few bucks and went with the no name. The unit itself has a swivel ball so that you can adjust the angle of the Motion sensor. Great and they pretty much all come with a similar system. There is a screw that would seem to be there to tighten the friction of the ball in order to lock in the position of the ball once adjusted. The screw does nothing, it just spins. I don't know if mine came stripped but I can not solidly lock the ball swivel. It is loose. Doesn't just drop out of position but I am worried it will be moved out of position with a windy day after spending some 30 minutes getting the angle just where I wanted it. Touch the motion sensor very lightly and it moves out of position and there is no way to remedy it Secondly .. 70 feet detection as advertised is WILDLY optimistic. I get about 30 feet tops. It is really about 2.5 star product only because it does work but if I had it to over .. there were ones $5 cheaper and I just would have bought one of those.
