We have multiple children, including those still in diapers. No bidet use for them, at this time. So, we have literally used thousands and thousands of wipes, bought by the cases, over the last several years; and, from near a dozen brands. From the bargain basement finds to the premium priced will give them a try version. Flushable, and non-flushable. Scented and unscented. We are looking for the holy grail of wipes. These are competitive, but are not going to be our top choice. [Right now our top choice is the non-flushable version, for our children, but when traveling, flushable is needed, so a try we gave these.] What did we receive? A soft plastic type rectangular package (classic packaging for wipes) measuring about 8” x 4½” x 2”. Is this package resealable? Yes. Is it durable? Yes, with careful use. How many wipes are within each package? (60). What size is each wipe? About 6” x 8”. Are these scented? No. Are these effective? Yes. Do they stay intact? Yes, when carefully used. Can these be used on children or adults? Yes, that’s why we selected these. Can we use these for when we travel? Yes, that’s why we selected these? How is the price? They are at a premium? Summary: These work, as they should. Can you give these as a gift? Awkward, however, not so if for a baby shower (however, there are wipes specifically targeted for babies, these are not noted to be marketed for babies). Are these wipes premoistened. Yes, amply. Can these wipes be flushed? The packaging recites “Flushable Wipes.” Will these wipes disintegrate? The package reads: “Easily Disintegrates.” Are these gentle on the skin? Using my face, I found they were? Would I replace my current baby wipes for these? No. What percentage is water? The listing noted the wipes are 99% water, are they gentle on sensitive skin? Yes, adult tested, on sensitive are of face. Are these made without alcohol? The packaging indicated no alcohol. What are these made from? The listing, not the packaging, indicated 100% plant-based material. Perfect for on the go and fit perfectly in travel / diaper bags What are the ingredients (1) Purified water. (2) Cetylpyridinium Chloride. What is that? It is a quaternary ammonium salt. What’s that for? Typically for disinfectants, surfactants, fabric softeners, and as antistatic agents. (3) Sodium benzoate. What is that used for? It is a preservative commonly used in foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. (4) Lodopropynyl butylcarbamate. What is that used for? Typically, as a preservative used in cosmetics, wet wipes (toilet paper), and other personal care products (5) Glycerin. What is that for? Typically for retaining moisture (6) Aloe barbadensis leaf extract. What is that? Aloe vera juice. Since this notes this aloe vera product contains whole leaf extract, it does not note whether that extract has been decolorized. (7) Tocopherol. What is that? It a class of naturally occurring chemical compounds related to Vitamin E. The reader is encouraged to independently do their own research surrounding the ingredients. Where were these made? China. Weight of the wipe package was near (14) ounces. Are there warnings? Yes. What? The listing notes them on the package, but, for instance, not more than one (1) of these can be flushed at a time and local restrictions may restrict their use. I also thought information lacking about the exact composition of the wipes was missing. Based on the totality, which includes that premium price, and noting the quantity of (60), these are not what I consider the bargain priced perfect wipes, but they are competitive, so four (4) stars, at most.
