Good product, does what it needs to - Recommended!

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one lasted for years. I tried another that didnt have the tie on the back, but it seemed a bit tight. So I got another one of these so I can adjust to my preference. The cap keeps the sweat out of my eyes and doesn't overheat my head. Top quality item, Recommended!

The best gear for cycling

I first realized I needed something like Headsweats about 20 years ago when I started riding more. The sweat dripping down in my eyes was really starting to become an issue, so I started looking around. I bought my first one about 18 years ago - loved it (and am still using it! - so I decided to get another one since I've been riding more lately. Why is it so good? Well, it's already lasted 18 years, which means the construction is great. The other thing is that it WILL NOT let sweat in your eyes - the "tail" forces your sweat to run to the low point, so it goes down your back instead of down your brow. It's so easy to put on (the terry cloth band holds it in place, so no tying, and the tail just is formed by shoving the 3 ends down between the headband and your head. I have never worn it without a helmet - I opt for a cap with a brim when running or hiking - but I'm sure it would work just great if that's what you need. So, if you have short hair and you need something to keep the sweat from running into your eyes while wearing a helmet, this is for you.

Excelente calidad

Excelente calidad, a mi esposo le encantó, ajusta muy bien, la tela es muy suave y muy fresca, mi esposo lo usa con el casco para más firmesa y también sin casco, lo recomiendo

Pretty good.

I got this after I shaved my head and I began to notice that, when it was hot, I actually felt hotter than I did with hair, because my sweat just sat on my head. Since I sweat so much, I decided not to go with a cheap cotton dew rag and get this, and it's great. You can't really tell, but it has a thick, elastic band with a layer of something in the front to keep your face dry, and then has the thin, polyester material on top that you can tie back. The only problem I have is that although my hat size is large, this still feels a bit loose, no matter how I tie it. Yet the elastic band feels a bit tight, and is also wide (about 2 inches), meaning I pretty much have to pull it all the way down to my ears and get in the way of my sunglasses. Still, it's really good. It's comfy, and it keeps my head dry and cool, especially when I wear a cotton hat over it to suck up all the moisture it wicks away. If it only fit my head a bit better (and I think I have a pretty normal, L-size head), I'd give it 5 stars.

The original and the best

I got my first headsweat "beanie" 20 years ago to deal with the sweat dropping into my eyes while riding my road bike on hot days, and it was awesome. The tail in the back wicks the sweat down your back instead of into your eyes, so I NEVER have problems with sweat dripping on my sun glasses, into my eyes, etc. Thanks to a hamstring injury 6 months ago, I've been bike riding much more than ever before (my hamstring tolerates mountain biking). My 20-year old headsweat (still in great shape!!!) just wasn't enough, so I needed a couple more. Look, ballcaps are great if you can wear them, but when cycling, NOTHING beats the Headsweat. Get this type - with the tails in the back -- and your riding experience will be much better!

Perfect

I love these under a bike helmet to prevent sweat from rolling down the face, and to help keep my helmet clean. I much prefer this type with tails than without, because the latter creeps up my head under my helmet. The tailed option allows me to tighten it up just right for me and stays in place. These are great but they don't last very long without losing the elasticity. I have tried hand washing and drying to slow the deterioration but it doesn't help. I cannot say how many uses to expect before this happens, a very wild guess might be 50.

Per tutte le stagioni

Acquistata fuori stagione si è rivelata molto valida anche d'inverno: protegge bene dal freddo anche se è di poliestere grazie alla tessitura forellata lascia traspirare la testa. E' preformata, si adatta benissimo a capoccioni come il mio grazie alla banda elastica in spugna senza assolutamente stringere. Veramente pratica da indossare, non si sente proprio di averla se non per il piacevole tepore che ora in inverno fornisce alla testa. D'estate la forellatura fornirà sicuramente il giusto scambio di calore con l'esterno, quindi è davvero per tutte le stagioni. La sua qualità mi invoglia all'acquisto di una bianca per l'estate, più riflettente dei raggi solari. Il prezzo è assolutamente giusto, non è un prodotto "usa e getta", ma è sicuramente di lunga durata.

Best product on the market for this application, cycling, wear it under my helmet to keep the sweat out of my eyes and importantly, keep the sun off my noggin! Great to purchase from Amazon Australia at the same price as you can buy direct in the USA! Add shipping from Headsweats USA, and it's just too expensive.

Perfekte Funktionalität, Gebaut für Schmal Köpfe.

Die Qualität des Künstlichen hergestellten Stoff steht außer Frage. Auch praxisbezogen und einfallsreich, mit diversen Gimmicks. Pflege und Wartung sowie Installation und Handhabe suchen ihres gleichen. Eigentlich schon fast zu gut, für diese Welt. Wäre da nicht die Sparsamkeit von dem elastischen Band und die Wertschöpfung Ihrerseits.
