With patience and technique, you can apply these straight and without wrinkles!
I needed letters for a construction sign I was making for my nephew's room. The 4" size was just what I needed. Like others have said, you can't really peel these off and apply them free-hand without them possibly wrinkling or being crooked. The way to avoid this is to make your own "transfer sheet" from some clear packing tape. Peel off a piece of tape about 6-7" long and fold the edges back on themselves so you have some "handles" to grasp that aren't sticky. The next step is important - get some of the tackiness off the tape by sticking and then peeling it off your shirt or pant leg. Do this several times - you don't want the tape to be so sticky that the letters won't peel off. Next, cut out the letters you need from the sheets. One at a time, lay the clear tape over the top of each letter. Peel off the backing/extra vinyl around each letter, and you then are left with just the letter, sticky side ready to apply to your surface. Using the "handles" on the tape that you made, use them to hold the letter taught as you carefully place the whole thing on the desired surface. Rub the tape, but only in the area where the letter is - this helps the letter stick. You can then gently peel back the tape, making sure the letter doesn't come up with it. Repeat as necessary!

Look good but very flexible
The letters look great and are thick enough that they seem like they will hold up good. The adhesion is great. The only problem I had was trying to get them on straight, especially the S as the material is very flimsy/flexible and makes it a little difficult to handle.

All the letters and numbers
good product and it comes with the indicated amount of letters and numbers, it would be much better if it came with its respective transfer for an easier word assembly. Parefect to make rotulations and signs

Difficult to place exactly where wanted!
Removing letters from backing was not as easy as I would have thought. Once I had peeled one-off I found it difficult to place it exactly as wanted. Trying to remove from poster board damaged it. I went back to my old was of making the sign. Stencil and marker.

Worked great! Letters are very large!
Worked great for my yard sign! Some of the letters were really flimsy and hard to get on straight. I think it would be easier if each letter was in the shape of a square, this way it would be easier to line them up.

These numbers sticking so far
I did not like that in white these numbers are really hard to see and then peel off because you cannot see them well. I did manage to peel them off with my husband helping me. They did stick on 4 garbage cans for a 4 plex building and they are still sticking about 6 weeks later. I will see how this works out. Thank you.

Works as advertised; can't beat that.
Nothing to dislike; perfect for my needs. I needed numbers on my windows of my drag car 4" high and several of three numbers. I ordered each number separately; and got 6 of each. Perfect. I needed 3 5's, 3 4's and 6 1's. Perfect.

Hard To Handle
Although these letters did do the job for me they are very difficult to place, especially the letter “M”. The vinyl is very thin. When you pull the letters off of the backing sheet the legs of the letters flop around and want to stick to themselves. Difficult to place the letter down and straight. Took much longer than it should have. Using these outside so we will see how long they last. It would be much simpler if these were rub down letters versus the decal type. Wouldn’t use these again.

Not as sticky as needed.
The product is exactly as shown. Be aware of what you want to put them on, as these aren't as sticky as I had hoped. After putting them on wood that had been cleaned and dry the didn't stick very well, as well they are also very thin and easy to rip when removing from the sheets. On the plus side they do look very good for my intended purpose.

Low quantity
Low quantities of 4 letters. I needed letter “z” twice but included is only one. Instead the whole page of symbols is included which nobody would ever need. Each letter should be available at least 2 times especially if I am ordering letters. Symbols should go with numbers instead.

Damaged
Mailing package was in excellent condition but inside, the product's plastic cover was ripped and dirty. When I removed the plastic cover, I discovered that numbers at the top left hand corner of each of the five sheets were damaged.

used this to label the house number on the metal mail box
we used these 4" numbers to label the house number for the mail box. it seems to adhere well. Will see if it will last for a few years.
