Good for the price
It's a good beginner option. Not enough of a sweet spot.

For Middle School Girl
I bought this racket for my teen daughter, the vibration is very bad, and less than a year later we noticed 3 cracks on it. Not worth the price.

Works well, light, balanced, not a fan of head strings.
I have been wanting a spare racket just in case my current one breaks so I got this. It works great for also a spare racket if someone wants to play with me. The first thing I will say is that the grip and the stock string need to be changed. The strings snapped after about four games. It is not very good. The grip I automatically changed. It does not work well at all. Other than the that, the racket is pretty well made. It is light and well balanced so it is not head heavy and easier to swing with. The frame itself is very sturdy so I do not have to worry about it breaking when I am stringing it or hitting with it. I am able to hit the tennis ball with ease. It is prone to scratches but you cannot really avoid that considering you're going possibly hit the side or against the ground when you are trying to get those lobs. The logo did not come off which is nice. It does look well painted on. Again the grip is sucks so I would recommend adding a new grip on when you get the chance. I am able to hit the tennis ball with ease but I would recommend changing the shock absorber as well. The one that is provided does not stay on too well and does not absorb the shock too well. Overall this is a very good tennis racket to have for a spare or to train with. It is well balanced and durable. The only thing I would say is that you need to change the strings and grip when you get it. They are either terrible or do not last very long.

pretty much the same as the pro so... great racket, great weight, great value
Aside from being a hair lighter than the Pro, I can't really tell the difference between the two. My friends who play more than I do even thought they were the same racket, just in different colors. That's not a bad thing though. My original review of the Head Metallix Pro: If your seriousness in playing tennis is at the level of willing to pick a racket you've never held before, then this is the perfect racket for you. If you're new, cheap rackets (even Head) will come poorly strung and need to be restrung pretty quickly. If you don't get them restrung, you'll develop bad habits because you won't get consistent hits. The racket I got came well strung. This is the perfect quality - price range for casual players or ones just starting, and these heavier rackets are what I prefer for the control. That's right, this is a (relatively) heavy racket. Noticeably so compared to my friends' (~same price) Wilson rackets.

Good starter racquet
The Head Metallix Attitude Elite tennis racquet is a good racquet for beginners. For me, I played some tennis casually in the past and was looking to pick it up again. This is a great racquet that serves its purpose without breaking the bank. Its composite frame is heavy enough to help your swings, but light enough to not get tired. Construction was overall good, grip was comfortable with extended use. Overall a good racquet for the price and one I'd recommend for a casual player.

Great beginner racket
I had a Head racquet as a kid and another I played with as a young adult. Both were fine and my second racquet even compared well with most of my friends. It's amazing, however, the way technology has changed in the last couple of decades with tennis. A racquet this light would probably have been available 20 years ago, but it would almost certainly have cost more than $300. This racket is geared towards newer players and is extremely forgiving. It's light and easy to handle, feeling great with each hit. The "metallix" rackets are made of a carbon-fiber like material that is exceptionally light, yet claims to be just as strong as older materials. Although I've only played with it once so far, I will say that it feels great, as it's nearly effortless to swing. There are some better rackets out there for more serious players, but this is an excellent option for youth or adult beginners.
