Adorable but beware of stains

What I like: - Adorable prints - Easy to snap - Warm but not hot (good for a variety of temperatures) - Easy to wash What I don't like: - Lining material snags easily - Outer material is slightly porous and stains Overall Review: We receive compliments on this coat wherever we go; it really is adorable. The sizing runs large on this coat, so if you order a size smaller than you usually do you will still have space to layer beneath, but it won't be too big if it's worn over a t-shirt. The outer material isn't cheap, but it is just porous enough that the white color is prone to staining from muddy puddles (and anything else). As a parent, you'd think I'd know better than to get anything white, but I thought being waterproof might make this an exception... nope. The lining material is equally adorable, but also disappointing in that the terrycloth snags and runs easily- I was surprised that this happened within a day or two of use. The good news is that you can throw this coat into the washing machine and hang it to dry (which you'll need to do with all the white on the outside AND the inside). We've gotten great use and oodles of compliments with this coat so I don't regret the purchase, but I'm not sure I'd make this purchase again, at least not in this print. Disclaimer: none- I paid full price

Good Quality, Cute, Comfortable Raincoat with Warm, But Not-Too-Warm Terry Lining

My daughter loves this coat! She is 6-1/2 and quite tall for her age. The size 7 was perfect -- not too wide around the body, but with ample room to fit a sweater underneath and long enough. The arms are a bit long, which is great, so she has room to grow (and she has long arms). The cotton terry lining is soft and warm, but should not be as hot as fleece, which gives this coat more versatility than some other fleece-lined ones. The outer material, besides being waterproof (key!), is matte and pleasant to touch, which is much better than some other (even higher-end) raincoats that are shiny and plastic. The print looks busy in the photo, but actually is very cute on my daughter. Even my husband, who did not like the print in the photo I showed him, thought the coat looks very cute on her. I imagine this will not be the last Hatley raincoat I buy....

Like all Hatley rain coats

Like all Hatley rain coats, this is a great purchase. Love the fabric they use, it isn't the stiff plastic on most kids coats and is such a good quality that you know it is going to last for a long time. The raincoat is lined so it has some extra warmth to it, but it can also be layered pretty easily with a fleece coat or big sweater. My daughter loves the butterflies on this one and it is the perfect little girl raincoat without having a character theme to it. It is perfect for rainy spring and fall days. One nice thing is that I find you can buy one of these rain coats and get two years out of them so you don't have to buy these every year. We have purchased Hatley raincoats in a lot of sizes and will continue to do so in the future!

Unicorn rain jacket awesome

My granddaughter loves this unicorn rain jacket. Its well made and the inside has very nice material to keep warm. The size fits perfectly. The rain jacket is cute and adorable. Can't wait for rains to come.

I didn’t tell her about the color changing part. She went bananas when she saw the clouds change color for the first time! The fit is great, the quality is really good, and the color changing is really cool, especially to a six year old.

Great hood!

I bought this brand as it is the only one that I have found with a decent hood. Bought this new design online as couldn't find it in the shops and we weren't disappointed. The hood covers my daughter's hair, the design is really pretty and she loves that it does up with buttons instead of a zip. The quality is great and has a good lining inside so good for cooler days too.

Lovely coat. Good quality and much cheaper than buying in local shop or on website. Colour changes as stated. Would recommend. Ideal for spring summer when you don’t need a heavy coat
