Toeless Stockings? Oh boy!

I love the idea of being able to wear stockings with open toe shoes. I bought the stockings to wear for my high school reunion. I can’t yet give an honest review since I haven’t worn them yet. I’m counting on Hanes Toeless Control Top Stockings to keep me comfortable and confident for my reunion. I’ll update my review after wearing them,

Pretty good

These worked well, however you will have to be wearing specific type of open toe shoes for it not to show. If they are just peep toes it’s fine or if there is a strap that goes across the bottom of your toes it will need to be wide enough to not show wear the nylon ends and your open toes are my shoes had a strap that was pretty thin and it sorta showed I tried to hide it but if you looked closely you could tell. They were not as fitting as pantyhose normally are I don’t want them to be tight but normally I like them to hug my legs a little these felt a bit loose (they didn’t look lose but just didn’t feel snug). I got the bisque color because I’m a very pale redhead and the color worked but I could have probably gotten away with a slightly darker tone they were pretty light colored even for me and that’s saying a lot.

My body is weird

I got a size A/B but really my body is just weird. It took me a minute to layout the hose and get the toe part facing the right way but once I did, they looked really good. Worked well with my sandals. They’re very light, can’t really tell I had them on. Despite my dogs jumping one me and driving four hours, attending a Catholic memorial/mass (lots of sit, kneel, stand, repeat), and lunch I didn’t incur any snags. The only rip I had was where the leg meets the “panty” part of the hose and that is because when I pulled them on in the morning, my nail made a little poke. At the end of the day when I took the hose off, the hole was still small and only spread maybe a couple of centimeters.

One worked one didn't

Bought two pairs just in case. Thank goodness I did because the first pair broke a hole in a matter of seconds while trying to put them on. I VERY carefully got the second pair on and they were comfortable enough. Very shear. Super delicate so take care when putting them on. I wish it was more shear at the toe part but I think that os unavoidable.

Exactly what I needed.

Perfect sheerness to cover the spider veins on my legs. I had no problem putting them on like some of the other people wrote in their reviews. You just have to be gentle because they are very sheer. Perfect color for my fair skin but will go one shade darker during the spring and summer months. Have worn this same pair several times with no rips or snags

Perfect for open toe shoes

I bought these for an outdoor wedding in Santa Cruz, CA in March. I was wearing open toed shoes but did not want to have naked legs. I bought these and they were perfect! They gave me support a little color on my legs and kept them a little warmer. Got into a conversation with my sister and niece about how cold it was that day and they asked how I wasn't freezing with naked legs. They were shocked when I told them they were toeless pantyhose! I would recommend them 100% if your concerned about them running. I went up one size. No issues at all.

So sheer they shred

You get at best 2 wearings out or a pair. I've had several and they just don't last no matter how careful you are.

For those who wish to add some color to their legs in the summer

These are great for my mother who does not tan in the summer months. You can wear these with sandals and still show off your beautiful pedicure, plus your legs look really good in these. This isn't my first order for my mother and it won't be my last.

Disappointed

I didn't even get to wear them, they ripped right away. I had to change my shoe choice at the last minute because I couldn't wear my peep toes without this style pantyhose.

Awesome! This is exactly what I wanted - shear pantyhose for summer (cannot even see them on, especially with open toe). I sized up to avoid a run and that’s been effective. Love them and bought another pair.
