Thicker sweatpants for colder temperatures. A little bit long for me.

This is a review of “Hanes EcoSmart Joggers, Midweight Cotton-Blend Fleece Sweatpants for Women.” These joggers are basically sweatpants. Some of the pictures made me think that these were thinner than sweatpants, but they aren’t. The pants are cuffed at the ankle and fleeced inside. Instead of a drawstring at the waist, there is a wide elastic band at the top. I typically wear a size 14 petite pant and ordered XL of these sweatpants. They fit me well, but are a bit long, bunching up a bit at my ankles. The sweatpants have pockets which I love! These pants will be a good knock-around option for colder days. They’re too thick for comfortable summer wear.

Comfortable but will shrink a bit

I got a medium which normally fits me fine. When I tried these on before washing, they fit perfectly, but after one wash (cold water, tumble medium), they did shrink some, not too small to wear, but they for sure cling more in and unflattering way due to their color (I felt like you could see some lumps lol). They are comfortable though, not too thick, not too thin, perfect for lounging.

Comfy & Warm

Based on the product photo, I was expecting these to be more like joggers than sweatpants but I was wrong. The ankle is tighter than the leg part but it doesn’t have the flattering look like joggers do sometimes. There also isn’t a draw string at the top to tighten these so I could’ve potentially sized down. Despite them not being overly flattering, they had a fun color and were incredibly comfortable. Not only were these made from a thick material and very warm but they were soft. As such, these were great for lounging around the house. I would reorder for a comfy pair of house sweats.

Nice midweight sweats

These hanes ecosmart joggers are a nice thickness and are comfortable. I ordered my normal size small and the waist is a little too loose on me and there's no drawstring to tighten it. Im 5'11" and they're a little short on me too but most joggers are. These are pretty nice joggers but the fit is just slightly off for me.

So comfy

I love wearing sweat pants on days when I don't have to go anywhere, or especially if it's a snow day. There's just something awesome about them that kind of helps you to relax when you wear them. Now, I must admit that I have bought and wore this brand many times before, but not this particular kind. Needless to say, if you, me, or anyone else sees the name Hanes on the tag - you know that it's a good product. Since I've never wore this kind of sweats before, I wasn't really sure on the size. I tried them on the night they were delivered and much to my surprise, they fit perfectly!! I'm 5'9" and around 170 pounds. These are so soft and comfortable to wear that I almost don't want to take them off!!! The pockets are a good size - and thank goodness they're not the fake pockets that a lot of other brands have, which I do not understand whatsoever. I cannot recommend this pair of sweat pants more!! If you don't want them to possibly shrink, I definitely suggest washing them in cold water and drying on low or no heat. That's what I always do and it works great. I promise you will love how these feel when you put them on!

Really good joggers

I have quite the growing jogger collection it seems and have become super particular about what I will and won't wear in the sweats department these days. I had no idea what these would be like when ordering, but to my surprise, they are actually really, really good. They have a very flattering, stylish cut. No bulky drawstring, no awkwardness--they are just right. I am 5'4", 115 lbs. for reference and the smalls fit great. I have a little bit of room to spare, but they just feel super comfortable. Because I skew more towards the petite side of things, I typically like my joggers to land just a little bit above the ankle. If these joggers had landed there or were offered in a petite length, I would be ordering them in every color, but still the length is fine, it's just a tad long, maybe right past my ankle (I mean, I could have them shortened, but that seems a little much for a basic, pair of comfy, around the house joggers.) With that said, these are absolutely flattering and nice enough to wear out of the house--truly, I don't think you will be disappointed. These are great and I am super happy with the order.

Great material, better than most brands

I have several joggers some I love and some I do not. These are some I love! The material is thick, but it is mid-weight as the description says. The color is as pictured. I am 5'10" and around 130. I got a Medium for lounging and they fit as expected. I love the wider waist band. It is not too tight and doesn't dig into my stomach. Being tall, I never expect joggers to be long enough, but these come close! They hit about 1 inch above my ankle. For the price ($15 at time of review) these are a steal!
