Awesome shirts - own 24 of them
I have slowly been accumulating 24 of these shirts in size medium. It's my go to daily shirt since I am fair skinned. When temperatures are cooler, I always wear those costco thin (size small) thin tight fitting thermal under them, or double these if I expect it to warm up substantially. This shirt or those combos have been great for the 15-25 hours a week of biking and hiking I do. I'm 5' 9", 28" waist, and 126-130 lbs depending on time of year. I do not like tight shirts (except a base thermal) and prefer baggy for movement and ability to stuff layers and peal them. You can see from the picture that the Medium drops right below the base of my private area. Arm length is perfect to end of my wristks Also, if you are concerned about sun/SPF rating, you don't want a tight fitting shirts, as the stretch will exposed more sunlight! On hot days mountain biking or hiking, I wear these in white to stay cooler. They do lose their pure whiteness very quickly from the trails, but to me that's acceptable. I care about sun protection, not looks. These are super easy to wash and dry quickly, and as an athlete I think they perform just as well as the name, expensive brands. I wash them on a regular cycle in cool water and dry medium (do not use softner!!!!!) I tend to way overstuff my loads and have not had any stitching issues, holes, worn out spots, etc even on the ones I bought in 2020 and wash weekly. And, it's a very old washer with the center agitator and 20 year old dryer ????. Anyone with issues I think snagged the stitching on something outside the washer, had it snag or bro brush on another item in the washer, or had a defective one. I'm very hard on clothes and they have been awesome Stains like from brushing teeth/drool wash out fine ????

Supper Happy 2 Years Later
Bought 6 Shirts in total and 2 years later they are still going strong. I cycled through 6 shirts as my daily ware for work, needed something that would help me regulate temp, cool in the summer, warm in the winter and these shirts performed the job perfectly. The material is extremely light on the body, silky smooth on the skin, moisture wicking / quick dry, and tougher than expected. Would have expected tears and snags from the machine / materials I was constantly in contact with, but the only thing to report was one shirt, had one sleeve cuff come unraveled which you cant event tell. Now that I have moved on from that career and back to a desk the shirts have taken over as my active ware. Great for the gym, when doing yard work, or even at the pool when you need the SPF protection. Hell even soft enough to ware to bed. Great low cost buy, lol only reason I have not rebought is because they have yet to fall a part.

SPF Does the Job.
First the likes, does protect from the sun, washes and dries quickly, appears to be well-made. Wear TBD. The drawbacks, I've always worn Large size t-shirts, but the Large size I received ran big, baggy and long, made to fit a long torso. Exchanged for Mediums which fit much better but were a bit tight across the abdomen, but not uncomfortably so. If you need more room at the stomach, it may be a concern. As to the moisture wicking, that was a challenge for the material during my use. Playing outdoor pickleball in FL (hot and humid) guarantees that I will soak through any shirt I wear. The shirt was completely saturated within an hour and only got wetter. Sweat didn't evaporate any more or less that a cotton t-shirt, but then the cotton wouldn't give me the SPF (sunburn is a risk for me due to skin cancer). Bottom line, SPF works, easy wash care but the moisture wicking during use questionable. Be aware of the fit. The return was painless, and the replacement items arrived very quickly.

Great shirts.
I do volunteer work with our local disaster relief chainsaw team. These shirts make me much more visible to my team members. You cannot be too careful when you are working with 9 other men running chainsaws. These shirts run a little large. Based on other reviews that I read I ordered one size smaller and they fit perfectly. They are made of soft moisture wicking material. They offer good sun protection for your arms while being cool enough to wear on hot summer days. They are about half the price of the competitor's similar shirts that I have been wearing. Give these things a try, I think that you will be happy you did.

Brightly colored, quality construction
I bought on a great sale and have no complaints for inexpensive long sleeve athletic shirts. Color is good, construction is good. Two different colors would have been nice but oh well.

Lightweight, doesn't get soggy...great sun shirt.
This is my go-to shirt for long walks in the south Florida sun. It's light weight enough that you don't feel over-layered for the heat, and it does a good job protecting you from the sun. It also doesn't get soggy or weighed down by sweat. I've not worn it in a pool or the ocean yet, but have had it on in heavy rains and once the rain stops it dries pretty quickly.

Great sun shirt to wear under a golf shirt. A tad too big.
I wear this under a golf shirt to keep the sun off my arms and it is great. It’s very light and doesn’t hold in the heat or sweat. It’s just a tad too big., but otherwise a great product.

Not bad but
The quality of the shirts are thinner than the ones purchased 3 years ago, and the fit is a little smaller, so I had to return size medium and buy large.

Just what I wanted
Very comfortable on skin. Soaks well and dries quickly. Multiple purchases. Recommend

love the coolness of the material
I love the coolness of the material, but even though I bought a size up it does not fit well, the top part is too baggy, but the bottom is really snug.

QUALITY PRODUCT, EXCELLENT PRICE, UNCERTAIN UV PROTECTION
My height is 5' 10½" and my body weight is 165 lbs. My body's shape is slim and am in reasonably good athletic condition. This post is a review of the Hanes (Men's) Long Sleeve Cool DRI T-shirt UPF 50 plus. The chosen size was 'medium'. The chosen color was 'white'. My reason for purchasing this T-shirt was to provide protection from the sun's harmful UV rays while playing tennis on outdoor courts. As such, it was worn underneath a thin (short-sleeved) cotton T-shirt. My Amazon order arrived within three days in a package containing two (2) identical T-shirts, in addition to other items which I ordered. If you decide to order two different colors when placing a single order, the cost is higher, since additional shipping charges will apply. If your order does NOT combine colors (e.g., two white shirts, as I ordered), you will obtain free shipping once you add additional items to your order - such that the total cost of the order exceeds CAD $35, before tax. Upon arrival, I examined the two T-shirts carefully and found them to be of notably high-quality workmanship. They appeared to be very durable with double-stitching. They are light-weight and extremely compact - convenient when packing for camping or traveling. After machine washing (warm water with no chlorine bleach) the shirts were virtually dry, even before placing them into the clothes dryer with other articles of clothing. On the tennis court they performed very well. Despite being worn underneath a cotton T-shirt on a rather sunny and hot (29° Celsius) day, the wicking effect was great. Moisture was pulled away from my body quickly and my body did not feel wet, despite heavy perspiration and two layers of clothing. As mentioned, these shirts dry very quickly. Air also seems to pass through these Hanes T-shirt quite well, thereby offering excellent ventilation during prolonged exertion or intense exercise. (Note: The cotton outer-garment became wet with perspiration and took longer to dry than the Hanes T-shiirt which was worn as an undergarment.) As others customers have noted, I found the underarms on these T-shirts NOT to be form-fitting. When lifting the arms overhead, the sides of the shirt will tend to pull upwards slightly with a triangular piece of cloth (air gap) remaining under the arms, since the the stitching for the underarms tends to be positioned a little too low on the shirt (not body-hugging under the arms). For me, this was not a concern, since the T-shirt was to be worn underneath another light-weight casual shirt. Accordingly, however, for those concerned about style or aesthetics, this T-shirt probably wouldn't be highly-rated as an outer garment. Additionally, the 100% polyester fabric tends to 'hang' or 'drape' onto the body, unlike cotton fabrics which tend to rest more naturally when worn. Despite these minor shortcomings, the T-shirt felt comfortable to wear and was neither too tight, nor too loose. The sizing ('medium') was perfect for me. The arm length was neither too long, nor too short. The chest and shoulder widths fit perfectly. There is plenty of length to tuck into pants or shorts. In other words, I found the sizing to be accurate, since I typically wear a size 'medium' with all my other shirts. No surprises or letdowns were found to exit in this respect. The Hanes label with the patented 'Cool DRI' insignia are clearly displayed inside the T-shirt. These shirts are NOT knockoff products. They are manufactured in Guatemala as genuine Hanes products. . UPF is an acronym for "Ultraviolet Protection Factor". It is somewhat analogous the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) ratings applicable to topical sunscreen lotions. The Amazon specifications for these T-shirts - unambiguously - claim that these T-shirts provide UPF 50-plus protection. This is the highest UV protection available for an article of clothing. Essentially, this means that less than 1 out of ~50 units of UV will pass through the garment (~ 2%). These T-shirts are NEITHER zinc oxide NOR titanium dioxide infused, so the UPF rating should not diminish with washing over time. Nor will the UPF rating improve over time due to automatic clothes drying, since polyester will not shrink (when heat is applied) to provide a tighter weave. No where on these garments, nor their packaging, is ANY reference made to their UPF rating. However, polyester contains a benzene ring that absorbs UV light. This dynamic is enhanced in cases where the polyester fabric is denser (i.e., tight weave, heavy weight, minimal stretch). Though tightly woven, these polyester T-shirts are quite thin. Therefore, I'm not confident that they actually provide the level of UV protection which is promised on Amazon. That being said, I am delighted that I purchased these T-shirts, since cotton T-shirts alone block only about 5% of the sun's harmful radiation. Coupled with other measures, these Hanes T-shirts will definitely enhance my UV protection. Conclusions: This is an excellent product at an excellent price. For my intended use of these T-shirts (stated above), I am definitely pleased that I made this purchase. Nonetheless, I certainly won't be making any fashion-statements on the tennis court with these T-shirts! :)

Is it really UPF 50 + Shirt
It was difficult to decide which size to order. I ordered Medium as My Indian shirt size is 40. It has turned out to be a bit larger for me. Mainly I wanted UPF 50 + product..so took all the touble to check with Amazon and got it from Amazon USA. But the there is no mention of UPF on the Product as such..So nto sure of the UV light protection that I was mainly looking for.
