Of all the underwear that I have purchased during my 85 years, I consider these to be the best and most comfortable.

These are not the same drawers you may have bought before ...

I want to start saying that I hate when companies who are trying to drive their profit up continually charge more for inferior products as time goes by. I had purchased Hanes colored briefs in the past, since 1990, and was very pleased. I was especially please with the "comfort waistband", which I probably last purchased circa 2007 or so. So you can understand that I was skeptical of the reviews which said that the material was thin and cheap, and waistband was narrow. This is not the product that I recalled. But it seems that the reviews are spot-on. These IS NOT the product that I had purchased previously. The waistband is narrow and is already starting to lose its elasticity even after a few washes in chlorinated water. The cloth is rather thin, and as a result doesn't provide the (*ahem*) support that I expect from this product. If you like thinner cloth (perhaps you are in a warmer climate), then this may be a plus ... but personally I prefer a little more heft to the fabric against my skin in order to provide some absorbance of sweat ... and then there is always the issue of (*ahem*) support, notwithstanding you preference and climate. I also purchased Fruit of the Loom colored briefs recently, and although I saw the same reports of thin material, the material on the FoTL briefs was much better, fit was better, and (*ahem*) support much better. These new FoTL briefs also had a nice waistband that was very comfortable. So, I've switched from Hanes to Fruit of the Loom. Congratulations, Hanes. You've driven a former loyal customer away.

Love 'em!

Personally I love these briefs since they support me yet are soft and comfortable. I can't wear boxers as they allow too much movement which causes me pain and tighty-whiteys just look bad and wear out quickly. These briefs have last at least 1.5 years and are still going strong with no holes. I like these so much, that when my local Tar-git stopped carrying them, I bought 10 packages through Amazon so I don't have to search for a new brand if they ever stop making them. ;-) The down-side is that some packages have funny colors like Superman Red (wife hates them), Baby Blue or even Royal Purple (I avoided that package at the store when I saw it and did NOT receive it in my Amazon order). UPDATE July 5, 2012: One pair had to be retired 3-4 months ago due to holes along the groin seam and a few other pair are showing small holes as well. This means they last at least 4 years before they need replacing. I am still quite pleased with these.

Good quality

Good quality of construction and fit. Compared to the Hanes Comfort Soft purchased last year, the material in the current Hanes are similar in comfort. After laundering , however, the the material doesn't appear as soft.

Great for the package but a bit much material on the back

This is my second pack of Hanes comfort Mid Rise, they are good for the junk in front but a bit much material on the back and I have a round booty too. If you have a flat butt and average on the front you ought to buy one size smaller. I cannot since I am above average and have booty. Good product for the price.

Weak elastic waistband

Fit well for about 4 hours of activity then they roll down and I have to adjust them up.

They were not mid rise like the same product that I purchased in the past , they hung far too low .

Vienen un poco disparejos

El paquete de 5 Viene un poco disparejo con algunos un poco más grande que otros la tela viene de buena calidad y el elástico forrado es más cómodo que los que no lo traen. La presentación de seis viene con mejor terminado y mejor calidad
