HALO did a nice job in this design - some things to be aware of

1) as mentioned elsewhere the power driver is not IC rated, thing is heavier than expected as well. Surprised by the gauge wire that powers these with 120V. It's small, but I'm sure they've done their engineering; it just underlines how "lite on the amps" new lighting is. By the way, I measured 48v DC off this in case anyone was wondering what the voltage to the light modules is. 2) you WILL likely have at least one light module "connector" you'll have to wiggle after screw down to make contact with the source wire, along those lines a little colored dot on each of the two pieces to help people quickly align before screwing would be a nice add 3) be aware "for your ascetic information" that the light lens to flange is a very flat profile, there is no recess. 4) good amount of light for 4" and the adjustability for the color temp is great; matching another 3000K LED strip turned out to be better than I expected (so at least two companies stuck to the standard ;-) 5) Know this when buying the "USED" packs from Amazon Warehouse... - it's a darn shame that people don't care enough to repack the light modules when they return them (and it doesn't appear that Amazon fixes this). HALO has a pretty effective protective packing method, but if things are not put back into the box the way HALO packed them you risk cosmetic scratches. 6) Lighting is something that seems to be returned a lot no matter where it's purchased. I know a lot of that is due to people needing to have it in their hand and to hold it up in the space...but...I wonder how many folks are buying these not really fully understanding how different these lights are from a power & installation standpoint. They are a nice lighting package if you plan for them and know what you are getting.

Great lights. Can’t find a dimmer

Super easy install. Looks great. However I’ve gone through multiple dimmers including the Lutron low voltage one. Still can’t get it to dim without flicker

Warning: Power supply is not IC-rated

The item description fails to mention that even though the LED units are IC-rated, the power supply is not. I did not learn this until opening the package and reading the manual. Google for the model number HLBQL4069FSE010-6PK to find the full specifications on Cooper Lighting's website. Halo does offer another model, HLBQL4069FS1E-4PK, which comes in a four-pack and does have an IC-rated power supply. This may not matter if you are able to mount the power supply in such a way that there is a 3-inch insulation-less gap around it, but may prove difficult if your insulation is of the blown-in variety. Otherwise, it's a nice system. I particularly like the level of detail in the manufacturer specifications including exact dimensions of both the LED units and the power supply as well as photometric data. For example, to plan your installation in advance and aid with positioning, you may wish to know that the LED units have approximately 15" of cable attached to each of them, and have a 112.8° beam angle.

Brilliant Idea and Increadibly Simple

These lights are bright, adjustable and very simple to install. Everything in the promo video is true. If I have to find a negative > When attaching the light to the wire, the quick connect may take some jiggling to get it to work. There are 2 pins that penetrate the self-healing wire. Sometimes...say 2 of the 6 lights...you must retry a couple times. Once it lights up and is installed, it'll be fine forever because there's nothing to shake the connection ever again. Outside of that, buy these things with total confidence.

Halo has out done itself with this LED QuickLink system of recessed lighting.

I like the fact that you don't have to run line voltage to the light fixtures. Line voltage to your switch then from the switch to the power supply unit that has its own junction box built on to it. From there you run the low voltage wire to all of your light fixture locations.
