Nice sweater

Nice sweater. Fits as expected. Bought it to go over sleeveless dress. It’ll fit over a long sleeve shirt too but might be a little tight for that. Bought two sizes in a 4 and a 6 and they both fit perfectly.

Great quality. 100% cotton. Fits perfect as per the size chart. The Gymboree collection has a slight retro feel, a touch of 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, which I love. I was beginning to lose hope for kids’ (and adult) clothing in an era of throwaway fashion (which I hate!), but this collection has restored my faith. Yes, the pieces are pricey on Amazon compared to fast-fashion brands, but the quality is definitely there. One item will last - and look good - as long as three fast-fashion pieces would. The clothes remind me of items my cousin in West Germany would wear in the 1980s, which were then handed down to us, and were still worn by my nephews in the 2000s (for instance, a 1976 Montreal Olympics tee still worn by my nephew in 2007, the seventh kid in line!). Thumbs up for the new Gymboree.
