Light but warm

It was wrinkled yes, but no problem at all, just wash it, or spray it with a little bit of water and throw it in the dryer. BEST jacket I've purchased. My son loves it! It's light yet warm.

Wrinkled, silky polyester. Not great.

I was somewhat disappointed with this purchase. First, it was an absolute, total, wrinkled mess upon arrival. I have very seldom ever purchased anything that arrived this wrinkled. I had to iron every particle of the jacket to get it looking okay. And I tried wrinkle release first, that did nothing. Second, I thought the jacket was going to be woven. I know it says 100%polyester, but I thought for some reason that the outer jacket would look woven, like a gabardine twill. The jacket material is a silky polyester that seems kind of cheap to me. It isn't like a nylon windbreaker, and it isn't like a more dressy woven jacket. It's silky polyester, which doesn't seem practical like nylon or dressy like twill. There is no word about it's water resistance, and I can't speak to that. But it is lined, which was a big factor in my choosing it. I would say the jacket runs more on the small, slender side, and not for more husky kids, which is okay because I upsized. For $42.00, the jacket is definitely overpriced.

Comfortable fit and very warm!

We really love this windbreaker jacket. It does a great job in keeping our son warm and looks really good on him. With it being a windbreaker, we didn’t expect it to do much as it relates to keeping warm in cold weather. However, it was a pleasant surprise to find that the inner lining is fleece, which is not only warm, but also very comfortable. The outer material is also very soft and smooth. Our son is 3 years old, but small for his age, so we ordered 2T size. It fits him just right, maybe a little tight. We’ll probably have a few months before he outgrows it. That said, I recommend getting the size appropriate to your child’s age, no need to get a size bigger or smaller. We’ve machine washed it a couple of times with no problems. The jacket has kept its shape with no shrinkage. Not sure how well it will hold up in a dryer as we have only hang dried it. All in all, we feel this jacket is great and highly recommend it.

Great jacket!

This jacket is really nice. It is lightweight but warm. The color is really nice and I like that they style can be dressed up or down. My son does not like wearing big jackets, but this one he wears without complaining. High quality. Definitely recommend this one!

Great as a rain jacket

The media could not be loaded. I got this jacket for my 2 year old who normally wears a toddlers 2t I ordered him a size 3t and it fit him perfectly with a little room to grow. This jacket is lightweight and has a soft material on the inside. He's worn it out in the rain a few times and it does repel the water.

Nice LINED windbreaker for mid-spring or mid-fall days

Gymboree has long made good quality and durable kids clothing and this windbreaker is another example of that - it's a classic design that is well-executed and made with quality to last for a good price. The color is a true navy and it's plain, so it should even meet school dress codes (those that cover jackets at least). The outside is well waterproofed (not the extreme waterproofing that you see in some hiking coats with taped seams and all, but enough to keep the rain out while on the way to school or whatnot) and there's a nice fuzzy lining that makes it both soft and warmer than it would be otherwise. To that end, it's more what I would think of as "mid-weight" vs true lightweight raincoat. It does keep the wind/chill off nicely. The fit is fairly true to size - order the size that your child wears in most other clothes and you should be fine. The hood also fits well and the zipper is easy for little fingers. All-in-all, I can highly recommend this coat if you have a little one to keep warm!

Great quality and fit; jacket is warm and made to last

This jacket fit my almost seven year old perfectly. He is in-between sizes 8 and 10, so I went with the larger size 10. The cuffed sleeves are ideal. They really keep the sleeves out of his way. The zipper is sturdy and functions smoothly. This is a lighter jacket, but don't let that fool you. It is made of thick, comfortable, durable material that keeps my kiddo warm. The lining is fleece like and soft. Overall, I am very pleased with the durability, fit, and quality of this jacket. My son loves to wear it, and he thinks it is really comfortable and warm.

Excelente chamarra mi hijo cumplirá 3 años, le compre 4T y solo le queda un poco grande de las magas pero, creo que con unos dobles se arregla
