It fit.
Granted I have had practice working on machines, this was a 10 minute install. Did not let it relax for an hour or boil in water. Pulled it out the package and slapped it in.

Exactly what I needed
Bought for Hotpoint CTX14CYBFLW, arrived yesterday, warmed up in dryer and popped right in place. This exactly what I needed. The only issue is one corner that isn't laying perfectly flat, but it isn't letting any of the cold escape(unlike the old seal) and will probably settle in a day or two.

Do Not Buy!
I purchased this to replace a door gasket that had a gap in it. After it arrived, I took it out of the box and reshaped it. The instructions say to let it sit for 24 hours to allow it to go back to the original shape. After the first day it didn't look that much better so I left it there for a total of 5 days. It still had several places that were not back to the original shape. My husband put it on the fridge door and there were gaps everywhere and the door wouldn't even close! The instructions tell you to place the parts of the gasket that is not fitting correctly into boiling water for 10 seconds then run under cold water. I did this to a small area and it warped the gasket! After exchanging quite a few emails with the seller, I was able to get a full refund including the original shipping. We ended up putting our old gasket back on and will end up buying a new fridge.

Why does one item have so many different part numbers
The gaskt I received was about 32" long. The description says it is 28 which is what I need. So I just put some silicone on my old one and now I have an extra $50.00 to spend on a new Frig.
