This can literally be a life-saver.
I'm an electrician who generally works by myself (self-employed) and had a job where I had to install a guy wire mount in the middle of a metal roof. I was very concerned about sliding off, so I invested in some relatively cheap insurance -- this Lifeline Assembly. I already had a harness, so I didn't need to purchase that. I was very pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the rope, but also its flexibility. I thought it would be much stiffer. I was concerned about how easily it would uncoil and if it would kink when I used it. After doing some research on YouTube, I bought an 18 gallon tote and fed the line into it haphazardly a length at a time, the way arborists do with a rope bag. It worked beautifully when I pulled it out over the roof and attached it to a tree with an OSHA-approved strap. The sliding clip moved easily up and down on the line when held open and locked onto the rope firmly when released. Gratefully, I never slid on the roof, so I didn't get to test the shock absorbing capabilities of the line, Hopefully I never will. This product is certainly well designed for its purpose and will give me peace of mind whenever I need to protect myself in a high environment.

Inspect before you use it, might have defect
I previously purchased two of these ropes and I was very pleased with the performance. However, I went for a third rope and this one really disappointed me. The rope was strangely kinked unlike the other two I have, then at closer inspection I found that one of the fibers was damaged and tied together in a simple knot. The rope was compromised, failed safety, and not usable (returning). Manufacture date was 03/2022. I would give 0 stars for this particular rope, but I’ll give a 3 since the other two I previously bought are perfect and holding up well.

Worked great
Had to do an emergency roof job on my parents place before the snow flew. I've had a harness and line for years but having two lines on the roof let me stay on the roof without having to reset my lines every time I crossed the chimney/peak etc. The 50 feet worked perfectly to reach over the peak, down to my truck where I clipped right into a shackle on my bumper. Saves so much time in knots and carabiners. Having a second line saved time for sure. I don't know why I didnt get one sooner. You can't put a price on safety

Works well - would buy again
I have used this mostly for work positioning and fall restraint on a metal roof that is steep enough that you just can't walk around on safely. Also have used on shingled roofs working close to edges. I'm not a fan of heights anymore and being restrained or being able to position myself feels really good using the side D rings on my harness. The rope grab works OK. It is a manual grab so you have to loosen and slide it up or down the rope as you move for work positioning. The clips seem to be good quality and can be worked with gloves on. If I needed the combination again (ie: lifeline assembly) I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Think about how much rope you actually need also. When I clip on at the peak the rope (50 ft) for my roofs is a little long. However there have been times when I have had to clip on to something sturdy on the other side of the roof (no roof anchors) and glad I had the extra length. Compared to one trip to an emergency room this is really cheap insurance.

Tener protección en el trabajo
Fue bueno y es necesario para la protección

It is suitable as a rope to be used several times.
This fall protection rope doesn't seem to be a very long lasting rope. The structure of the rope is not dense and looks a little loose. The rest of the rope grabs or other steel parts seem fine. For those who do roof work professionally, it would be better to use a rope for mountain climbing or high place work. This product is a material that cannot withstand friction or UV rays for a long time.

Works great for me!
I’ve used it a few times to go on my super steep roof, works great so far. It seems well manufactured. The piece you use to adjust your length is easy to use. I feel comfortable that if I loose my footing or grip, along with my harness, this will keep me from rolling off the side. I use it on my 3 story roof. Of note, I have anchors installed on my roof so I can clip into them. I don’t use this by wrapping it around something or clipping it on anything else. The hook used to snap onto the anchor I can operate with one hand if need be, for example I’m using the other hand to brace myself on the roof for safety.
