Wife knit a pair of flip-top mittens and I wanted the shells for blowing snow. Haven't really had a chance to give them a workout - lack of snow. Seem well made.

Product would've been super if there were 'pull-on tabs' on the wrist bands. It's a royal pain to pull the mitts on otherwise. ( I added them, and now the mitts are perfect.)

Not as shown! Consider this Junk.
This leather mitten is not as shown in Amazon's image of the mit. This mitten has a cloth wrist collar on the inside opening of the mitten. This makes it very cumbersome to quickly slide your hand into the mitten. It makes it necessary to use your opposite hand to help get the mitten on. The mittens leather is also quite stiff. I like a soft chopper style leather insulated mitten (without a wrist collar) when ice fishing. It allows me to quickly slip on or off the mitten when handling fish and I do not have to use both hands to get the mitten back on. For some the wrist collar may be advantageous in keeping out snow and cold. For my purposes, I am disappointed that it is not what I thought I was buying. I May return or if I keep this, I will cut the wrist collar out of the mitten. 1/21/2022 Dropping the rating as low as I can go. Put the test to these mittens yesterday while out ice fishing. While using the power drill/auger to drill holes, the mitten blew a hole in the threaded seam between the thumb and the palm of the hand. I've drilled thousands of holes using the same procedure and have never had a mitten fail me like this much less a mitten that is brand new. Pure junk.

Perfect solution for me
Perfect for parking lot duty in the wintertime. Can even stuff a hot hands pouch inside for extra warmth on very cold days.

Very cheap and fell apart
I bought these for my dad to use when snow blowing. The first pair I bought started coming apart on the inside seams after one use. We thought that it must be a fluke and just a defective pair. I returned them in exchange for a second pair. After receiving the new pair and wearing them only once, the same thing happened! I returned the second pair and asked for a refund, which I got. However the company charged me a restocking fee. Obviously I was very disappointed with this experience.

XXL mittens
These mittens fit my husband great! He is 6 ‘ 5” and has a hard time buying gloves due to his giant hands! They are easy to but on and very comfortable!

better than expectedc
living in a place where we have 10 months of good sledding a 2 months of bad , i think Im a bit of an expert on mitts these ones are beawsome ( beyond awsome) especially the cuffs keeps snow and chill off the wrists will buy again

Warm and Comfortable
These are great for working outside raking leaves. They kept my hands warm and room for fingers to grip a rake.

Its fine, no problems at all but do be in the know that there is a collar where the hand goes in
