Easy to install, my oven works again
This did the trick. My GE wall oven was not heating at all at any setting. Both top and bottom elements were out. This only thing that worked was the clock basically. I installed this new temperature sensor and everything worked again. Besides having to pull the oven out to reach the back, the repair was easy.

Just as expected
My GE Profile oven was not getting hot or staying hot. I got F2 errors after I turned off the oven. It acted like a thermostat thinking that the temperature was higher than it really was. I was hopeful that the problem was just this temperature sensor, and it was! I replaced the sensor in about 10 minutes and my oven was as good as new. It couldn't have been easier and who can complain about a $20 oven repair. If this doesn't solve your similar problem then the main board probably needs to be replaced. I'm so glad that wasn't the case for me. Easy fix!

Our oven works now
The package shipped quickly and arrived within 3 days. It took about a minute to swap out the old sensor with the new one and there hasn't been any oven issues since.

Working oven
I wish a new bolt were included in the package since these are hard to get off and strip or get dropped, but the part works! I dropped the little bolt that took me 4 days to remove, but my oven works again and no more F2 error code!

If F3 comes up buy a new oven
Bought this as a cheap startout on what was wrong with my oven but the control panel was burnt out and I ended up having to buy a new oven but mine was 25 years old. The part was shipped quickly and might work if u r getting a F2 error

Fixed my F2 Error!
Was getting an F2 error when the oven would heat past 425F. Took about 5 minutes to install this and the error is gone! Saved a ton of money on a service call.

Great replacement
I received the probe several weeks after I ordered it. It did not arrive at the posted date as advertised, so was without an oven for over a week. Other than that, I talked the wife through how to change it over from the old, non-functioning one, and the entire job took less than five minutes. The oven is like new now.

No more F2 warning
Exact fit - had to remove the back panel to disconnect the sensor - it was not able to be pulled through the connection hole inside the oven / was tangled in the insulation. I no longer have the F2 warning every time I use my oven.
