Easy to replace.
Sliding screen door hard to push aside? This is all you need to make it roll like new. Get one.

PrimeLine B610 Steel Ball Bearing Rollers
There are two rollers in each package. A typical screen door has a total of four rollers, two at the bottom and two at the top. If you have to replace all four rollers in your mesh screen, then you need to buy “2” items in quantity (2 quantity x 2 rollers per package = 4 rollers). These rollers are heavy duty, made of steel and roll smoothly. One could feel a small amount of lubricant (oil) rubbed to these rollers and if you focus your torch light on the small gap between the shaft and wheel, you could see parts of some ball bearings inside these to help them roll. My OEM roller that came with the five year old mesh door, worn off and I could not find these in any of the big box stores. So I took my original rollers out, measured their dimensions and checked against the dimensions listed on the product figure. That’s how I came to know that these will work on my screen door. I would suggest everyone to measure their existing rollers to make sure that this product fits their door. The OEM rollers that came with the door are made of plastic (plastic roller and steel body) and they broke easily. The same manufacturer has nylon / plastic rollers and this product is the steel ball bearing version (the entire part is steel). I would recommend everyone to spend a couple of dollars more and buy this steel ball bearing version. The difference in price is much smaller than the money you spend for gas traveling to big box home improvement store and back. These rollers are smooth and roll easily. The screen door moves much easier (like it is supposed to). There are videos in youtube that will show you how to remove the existing rollers and put the new ones in (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGihG4Q4Wbs). All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver. Once you figure out how it is attached, the rollers can be put back in 5 to 15 minutes (depending on how handy you are).

Rollin' like a charm.
I had a job finding this type of roller in the 1" size. I went to mobile home supply retailers and to every supply house on line. I couldn't believe Amazon had them when even specialty suppliers didn't. They even came with metal rollers instead of plastic which gets brittle at ends up needing replacement in no time. They roll smoothly and quietly. Very nice.

You can do this!
I just replaced 4 worn out and chipped rollers. Here's what I learned. Use a large enough Phillips screwdriver to spread the clip on. If you do not, as I did initially, you will have an extremely hard time installing these rollers. Also, remember to take the roller adjust screw completely out before removing and installing the new roller. Remember to put it back in. Our screen door now rolls super easy. Hope this helps someone.

20+ year old sliding screen door is like new!
Had to replace what I'm assuming were the original rollers for the patio sliding screen door. Took a shot in hopes I matched and measured those rollers since both were rusted badly with no model numbers on them. I ended up just watching a YouTube video on getting the old ones out and getting the new ones installed. The door slides without issues on the track now!.

Failed after a year
Roller failed after almost exactly a year, all the little ball bearings fell out such that the door jammed in the frame. Item doesn't see rough use and origianal roller lasted about 20 years. only had to be replaced because the wheel wore to the point that it was hitting the track.

Hard to install but works well
This roller was exactly what I needed. The only issue I had was removing and replacing the original. The axel on this is just a bit too wide to fit comfortably in the slot in the door and required a bit of force to install. Once in it worked perfectly. Find a video on youtube to learn how to do the removal and installation, and be patient.

If you have this type wheel in your sliding screen door, I wish you the best of luck in getting the old, plastic, broken ones out. I was just about to resort to a sledge hammer when I remembered YouTube exists. I'll save you the trouble of searching. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOcRAbkcAe8 The rollers are infinitely better than the old, plastic ones. The door actually glides now, instead of grinding along the track like a ford pinto on cobblestone stairs. Even if your plastic rollers aren't broken yet, I would recommend stepping up to these. The door never rolled this well, even brand new.

Works great on 20 yr old aluminum screen door
Comes 2pcs in a package. Used this with Prime-Line Products B 569 Screen Door Corner Insert with Screw, Diecast. This spring roller was completely different than original so I also bought the corner insert as well. Warning! Corner inserts are made of brass so they are delicate so you need to buy an extra one if you don't insert them precisely and need to back them out when wedged tight in frame. Door runs like new.

Don't know why I waited 20 years to replace worn out rollers. These are superior in materials and make the door slide so easily and securely. No more hassles getting on patio!
