Very nice valve indeed - you do need to be quite handy to replace an old USA valve
Replaced an old single-handle Moen valve in a stall shower with this. Needed to do quite a bit of carpentry to make it work. The plumbing part was easy, however, because of Pex and Sharkbite fittings. The valve works very well. See pictures. No stars removed because of the extra work, as I knew going in what was needed. Update: Very pleased with this valve. MUCH easier to regulate temperature than the single-handle valves I've seen, which are much more common in the US. Definitely worth the work to install it. It's easy to reset the temperature where the "stop" is; just remove the knob - first take out the chromed insert and remove the screw - and rotate the valve stem until the temperature suits you. Then replace the knob without moving the valve stem. You can always press the button and rotate the knob to make it hotter. Remove the red insert inside the knob if you want it still hotter when you press the button to go past the stop. Similarly, the flow control stop point can be adjusted by removing the flow knob (the right-hand knob) and replacing it in a different position. It will shut-off "off-center" but this is not a bother to any of us here. Pressing the button and turning the knob further increases the flow to the maximum, no matter where you replace the knob.

Tricky RV install showing photos.
I had posted questions about installation so I decided to show how it worked out. This is on a stainless panel in a RV. Pictures show support from behind the wall. I used a 3/4” nut from Lowes to help tighten. Made 1” holes in the stainless and pulled tight from the back with the 3/4” nut. Last picture is view from directly above. A little confusing but good information. The large nut on the faucet is directly against the stainless.

Works and makes noise
Works as it should. I had a similar unit from another manufacturer installed and that one worked for 6 years. So installing the Grohe unit was no problem. I am happy with it. I also like the information that came with the unit, it identifies the internal parts of the unit so in the future, when needed, you can repair the unit. I hope Grohe will sell the internal parts, I have not checked that. Grohe can perhaps let us know? Sometimes the unit makes a noise, might be air in the unit, will see if it goes away in time. If you want this type of faucet I can recommend this one.

Over-ride buttons not obvious to guests.
Works smoothly. Not good for a bathroom guests will use. Both handles stop turning at a certain point. Then you can press a spot on each, to turn it further. When you get to that first stopping point, the temperature spot is clearly visible, but does not stick out and is not labeled. Only guests who've seen a similar feature are likely to press it and keep turning. Others will think the spot is just part of the design, and have a cool shower. The flow control is worse: by the time you need to press it, it's rotated down out of sight. Again no hint that you can press that spot and get more water pressure. It's fine for you, but guests won't see them and won't know to press them. Also the maximum temperature that you eventually reach is too low for my taste, and there's no way to raise it.

Just like being on a cruise ship..
Easy installation and temperature control works great..no hot or cold changes when a toilet is flushed or faucet opened...just turn on and step in shower in about 30 seconds....works just like advertised..

They turn very easily. I love that it regulates the temperature better ...
I was a little concerned that the handles were going to be difficult to turn with soapy arthritic hands- I shouldn't have worried. They turn very easily. I love that it regulates the temperature better than any other non-scald faucet we've ever had. The pre-set stop at 100 degrees is great, and it's easy to manipulate the override for the temperature if you need it warmer. External (or exposed) shower mixers from reputable companies that meet U.S. plumbing standards are not easy to come by (which you already know, if you are looking at this review); this one is a winner!

Very nice but never let it freeze.
Great product for RV use it’s beautiful and works as advertised. Do remember to turn off the system and drain it completely by removing the shower hose and opening it up when you store or are expecting a freeze. Freezing will explode it.

It's sleek, modern and looks great
This is the best Thermostatic shower valve on the market for the money! We love it! The key to installing this is to make sure your plumbing connections are not reset past the lip of the tile. Ours was and we simply had to buy a extender at Home Depot, cost $10.00.

Quelle merveille!
Comme remplacement de robinet de douche thermostatique, c'est parfait! J'avais un de marque GROHE avant et je ne regrette pas du tout de continuer avec cette compagnie dont les produits, jusqu'à maintenant, sont très fiables.

Great way to add a shower where there wasn’t one before.
Excellent product. Works very well. I was replacing original bath tap set in 1950’s house. This was great as it mean I didn’t have to rip apart wall to put in typical North American shower head set up. The struggle I did have was extending pipe through the wall to connect it, which simply meant a fair bit of time in plumbing aisle at Home Depot working out how to do it. But now it’s in, very happy!!
