These pads combined with the griots garage glass polish are amazing
I wish I had taken a before picture of the shower door of the house we have just moved into. While we are building our house we rented a property from a friend of ours and they told us the shower door couldn’t be fixed because it was completely covered in water scale. I just laughed and told him I had a solution. My friend made fun of me and didn’t believe me but I brought in the griots garage glass polish and these pads and I use one that I have used probably 40 times which is why I ordered a new set. In no less than seven minutes the door was completely clean and clear and my friend couldn’t stop yakking about how amazing it was. It completely blew his mind. A few days later he and his wife came over and asked me if they could see exactly what I had use to clean the shower door because they have a friend who owns 30 rental properties and this is always a problem when people move out. It works great on automotive glass as well and that’s primarily what I use it for.

I think it is good because fluid will not became dry very soon and ...
I use Griot's Garage 10813LNGCRD 6" with DRIVEN Extreme Duty Glass Cleaner and Griot's Garage 10614 6" Glass Polishing Pad to clean Buick Enclave 2012, bought new one. It spent 4 years outside, not so much used and not so often cleaned, so a lot of water stains at windshield. I afraid of glass scratching but I decided to try to clean it. It was first time for me. These days are not so hot at south of US, so windshield will not be too hot during cleaning. I think it is good because fluid will not became dry very soon and glass will not be too hot. I feel that it is not good to polish glass when fluid became enough dry, maybe it could scratch a little bit, so when I feel that it is a little bit dry(rotation becomes a little bit difficult) I stop it. Maybe you will spend more fluid if you use this logic, but I believe you are at safe side. I spent no more than half of bottle for front side glasses, windshield and mirrors. The front side glasses and mirrors I did manually. So, I can say...do it. These are excellent tools.

Using with a standard drill - watch out
If you use these with a standard drill and not an orbital, look out. I polished the glass on my shower doors and it was hard work. One door had quite a bit of hard water etching and the other had a lot more. With a couple of hours of work, I got the first one looking pretty good. With a standard drill, it is hard work because the pad wants to wobble all over the place and get away from you. It takes control and patience. While attempting to polish the second shower door, I ended up cracking the glass because I got an area way too hot. So I gave up on it. Hard water etching is no joke.

Works on glass
Works on glass. I am polishing mild scratches out of my windshield. You need a powered buffer to use these plus a polish compound. They work well and may need a rake to the polishing surface to fluff up the surface once and a while

Worked as promised
Had some scratches on my windshield after a very tough New England winter. Some small rocks or salt got trapped under my wipers after a storm. Scratches ran right across driver's side view so very annoying as well as a potential safety hazard. I called my insurance company and they wouldn't replace the glass. I looked on Amazon for a solution and came across a few products. Purchased the Cerium Oxide, Velcro Backing Pad and Griot's Garage Pads for my drill. I was skeptical at first but gave it a try - it worked very well! You need to be a little patient however. Keep a spray bottle of water handy to keep the polish moist as you'll need to keep working the scratches. There are YouTube videos out there to check out first. I'm a believer and would recommend to others.

Excellent!
A little heavy for this girl, but this is a great product! ! I highly recommend. I used CamelCamelCamel.com to view Amazons price history for this product. I see it was as cheap as $97 in the past, so I set up a price alert for it at CamelCamelCamel.com. About a month later, I received an email saying it was $97. I ordered it right away before the price jumped back up again. I highly recommend and you can't beat the lifetime warranty! Update 2/18/16: Oops, this review was meant to be for the actual polisher itself, not the pads! Sorry! Still love the polisher and this pad that I bought!!

Okay for polishing, not so much for removing scratches.
I bought these to use with CarPro Ceriglass on some old scratched windshields. Used these on a Griot's Garage 6in dual action polisher. The pads worked, but only for polishing and not so much for removing any scratches and real cutting. The microfiber gets gunked up very quickly with the glass polish and then becomes ineffective. Other pads that are rayon based do not gum up so quickly and makes glass polishing much more efficient and effective. I gave 3 stars because with a good product they can still polish your glass and remove things on the surface such as water spots, but don't expect these to be good at glass cutting. EDIT: After lots of time spent in learning glass polishing, I have found that a dual action polisher (with the exception of some of the new high powered ones) just aren't strong enough to cut the glass down. A rotary polishing tool would be better and can actually remove light scratches. I have used rayon pads on a direct polisher (a nice Makita) and was able to remove some scratches, but evidence of windshield wiper arm scratches did remain.

Good for your money
Used with DA polisher to polish windshields. It deep cleans the class and preps for a coating. Its versatility is great, can be used for any polisher. Value for your money is great 3 comes in the pack.

Worked really well !
Used in combination with 3" orbital polisher from Griots Garage and : Griot's Garage 11017 Fine Glass Polish Griot's Garage 11033 Glass Sealant. Impressive results, needed to do 2 passes for a few bad watermark spots in side glass but once completed, shined like diamond. I taped around windows, 2 layers of blue tape, polished, then washed, then dry then glass sealant. Take overall 1 hour per car window if you take your time.

Good quality product!
I love Griot’s products and this is no exception. It does a great job polishing glass. I washed one of the pads twice after using it and it’s holding up very well.
