Rust
Purchased May of 2022 to hold ceramic briquettes in a gas grill. Has done that task but grate is rusting and it is April 8,2023. Grill is babied and covered when not in use.

Smaller than thought
I am giving this a 4 star only because it is "as advertised" but not as imaged. I thought it would cover a normal size grill (generic char broil grill). The width (the part that doesn't expand) is little over half the grill size. Just measure your grill and don't assume they would tell you it doesn't fit the full size. I am really not certain of the reason for this size...too big for the raised grill and too small for the lower grill

Easy to install
These are perfect for a standard size grill, but it did take 3 to cover the grilling area. Mine were old and rusted; I was very glad to find these and they are easy to install.

Best for getting a good sear
Love how well they give a good sear and grill marks. Just make sure that you let them hear up for at least 10 minutes. Very sturdy, and easy to clean. Since they are adjustable you may find that they shift a bit when scrubbing. I remedied this by adding a few well placed metal screws at the top and bottom it fixed it and I can still remove the grills to clean and maintain the BBQ itself.

Not perfect
This was a replacement for factory grates for my Char-Grill 2 burner. Unlike the factory porcelain grates this grate is thinner and will adjust to fit most grills. The problem is it may not cover the entire cooking surface as in my 2 burner grill. I had to order 2 of this grates and it still left about 2" space, so not exact fit but workable. The other problem is there is no way to lock these grates once adjusted. So when you start moving food around or cleaning them they will lose their length adjustment. I noticed the exact grates at Lowes that had thumb screws that prevented them from moving. In addition, cleaning them is not easy even with pre-spraying them prior to cooking. The benefit is stainless steel and I'm hoping not to see any rust!

Great... Grate :)
Very pleased with this grill grate. I have a cheap charbroile grill with 3 burner, had it for about 4 years now. Because the grill was on the cheaper side the original grate that came with it was cheap too and started rusting and buckling from years of high heat grilling. This grate was a little too small for my grill length wise but not width wise. I only bought 1 grate to test it out. And it past my test. I decided to lay the grate on top of the old one. I'm very impressed with the grate it leaves perfect grill marks in my chicken and steak along with my veggies :). I had to order another!!

Great quality for the money ????
From the time that we ordered, to the time that the product was delivered.....that was fast! We have been enjoying the new BBQ grills.....best of all no peeling paint problems. I would like to say...... order this product and you will not be disappointed.

Delivery was fast. The grill retain and provides an even heat. It is also easy to clean. The grill should give us a few more years from our beloved BBQ.
