Great camping grill!
Bought this grill for my dirt bike trail riding/racing trips. Most riding places here in the PNW only allow gas cooking as the fire hazard increases when the riding season approaches. We went to the desert 100 race with a small charcoal pit only to find out that we couldn't use it. Everyone else there had some type of gas cooking devise, griddles, pits, etc... Soooo....I bought this one. I've only used it once as I just got it. I put it to the test with chicken thighs, bone in and skin on. Heat distribution - This seems fine but as with all pits you'll have some hot spots. Nothing too crazy on this one though. My hot spots are where the darker chicken thighs are towards the front and one small one towards the back. See the 3rd picture. The pit ran a little hot on low, again nothing crazy but just a bit hot in my opinion, it cooked the chicken pretty quick. Cooked the chicken to 203 F and skin was nice and crispy with only one flip. Kept the lid on it and flame ups were zero and it only flamed up when I opened the lid. A quick spray with a water filled spray bottle worked perfectly. The heat shield/drip shield worked like a champ. I think keeping the heat/drip shield clean will be the key in avoiding flame ups. I didn't time the cook so I'm guessing here. I think it took less than 25 minutes to cook the 4 pieces of chicken. I started with a full little propane bottle and when done I felt like it only used maybe a quarter or so of propane, plenty leftover to do more cooking. Pretty good consumption rate. I didn't not run the pit on high for 10 to 15 minutes prior to cooking! To me this pit gets way too hot for that, I did run it on low until the smoke stopped, I guess it was burning off the manufacturing preservation oil. I did set up a board to block the wind however I took it down after the pictures and the pit did fine, wind was only 2 to 4 mph, so not much. Overall - Great pit so far, I think I'm going to really like it!

It's sufficient
My apartment doesn't allow full size grills, so I bought this travel one and it's fine. I think everyone would agree, but a full size grill would be ideal so for small and cheap grill this is fine. I love how easy it is to store and it cooks pretty well if you have enough propane. Overall it does feel cheap and that does mean you need to be careful with it, but we've already dropped it (about 4ft onto concrete) and it still works fine so you don't need to baby it. Granted it didn't land on the propane attachment and that does feel especially fragile so baby that part. Again, it's travel size so if you have more than 2 people eating from it be prepared to take turns and don't expect to grill multiple courses unless it's just you or you eat hamster size servings.

Got what I paid for.
I was looking for an inexpensive grill for limited use for camping. This seems to fit the bill. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean and heat seems about 85/90% even throughout grill surface.

Lights from underneath with match
My mistake but no auto ignition button on this. You have to turn on gas and light it from underneath the whole unit? Meh...easy to put together but think this will go in camping gear and clean up my old weber for home use.

Easy to put together and portable
I like the fact that the grill is portable. The legs fold up to lock the top in place so it can be easily ported. It was easy to put together. The instructions were clear and easy. Took 15 minutes top to assemble. The inside heat resistant shield was a little difficult to attach because the screws have to be loose and then tightened with a good degree of pressure to keep it from popping up since it slides down on the screws. Cleaning the bottom is a challenge if liquid drips through because the heat shield is screwed on. It will have to be removed in order to clean any drippings. Appeared to distribute the heat well. The temperature seemed to be consistent regardless of which level i had it on, low or high.

Good product
I wanted a small, lightweight propane grill to bring camping and this fits the bill perfectly, it cooks nicely but the only drawback is a funky legs... they are great at holding the lid down which is awesome when driving but they are extremely unstable when you try to grill, the solution is to let the legs fold all the way in so it's standing on the top of the triangle, it looks silly but it's 100 times more stable than having the legs flat on a table

Nice but be careful when changing out propane
This little baby gets the job done. However, when changing out my first propane canister the little brass nipple in the regulator came out with it, along with the washer that keeps the gas from leaking when the valve is open. And off course the washer fell onto the leafy ground, never to be found. With all peppers and sausage ready to go, what could I do? Fortunately I was able to cannibalize and old propane hook up and use that washer and put it all back together. Would have been a much bigger issue if on a picnic.

Camping Nirvana
Bought with damaged box. Less than half price. All parts there. Owned one 20 years ago. Perfect for camping. Tip: split a chicken in half and cook for at least two hours. Salt & Pepper.... yum yum drool drool. Stored in a garbage bag when transporting. Char Broil is great! Okay after playing the damned thing it runs too hot with the lid on! I've tried choking fuel flow and I could still cremate my long dead Mother. Spoke with Char Broil and they admit the thing runs hot... the solution is to cook with the lid off the regulator will handle the job quite well! So that's what I'm doing a good grill every time PS: Using an adaptor for a 20lb. bottle and ceramic tiles to retain heat! Just a tip.....

YES - Little BBQ perfect for patios and beach days. Cheaper here than from Manufacturer.
I've owned this product SEVERAL times before, it wears out about every 2nd year (it's a portable, not meant to last longer than that really), could no longer buy it locally (dunno why)... way more expensive to order direct from manufacturer so ordered it here... Love it. Came as promised, in great condition, super easy to assemble and works great. Will order this again from same vendor when this one wears out (like they always do). Definitely a recommend.

Flame keeps putting out
At the first time using the grill it's very hard to see whether the flame is on, but I can feel the heat so OK. Then the flame went out three or four times during the first 15min of use. Also Legs are too short for the 1lb propane cylinder
