Great product

Perfect for the job and great quality

This is was very good quality apron for an affordable price. I love that it has cross straps instead of a neck one because I get migraines and the neck ones trigger them. The pockets are an added bonus

Decent for the price.

I purchased this as a gift for a family member that is attending culinary school and has neck issues. The cross-back feature of this apron is helpful for neck strain. This apron is also lightweight, pretty solidly built and is sharp looking. I did not see any stray threads or seams/hems coming apart. If you are looking for an apron that will cross-back and be capable of wrapping around your waist and tie in the front, you will have to look for another apron. One note: I did have to open the plastic packaging in order to see the true color. While the apron was in the original packaging, it appeared to be charcoal in color rather than black. For the price, this is a decent apron for general use. It is much better than the quality that I find locally for a much higher price.

It's ok but there's one BIG flaw with it.

I just opened this and tried it on. I'm not mad for a $20 apron. It's nice to have my own apron to use at work vs. the ones that are supplied by the restaurant's rag company. I wanted a cross back because the ones supplied to us annoy me when they ride up the back of my neck if I'm wearing a tee shirt. That being said. I give this 3 stars for one reason alone. The ties are way too short for how I like to wear an apron (and how most people I see wearing aprons). The straps cross in the back, go into little notches on the sides to help keep the apron from flapping around, and at this point I like to cross the straps around my back and come into the front and tie a bow. Just like the model in the product image. This is where it's just too short. I'm a size 34 waist, and I BARELY have enough slack to tie a bow. Keep in mind, size 34 is not that big. I would say anyone size 38+ might have to tie it in the back. Pretty annoying. It might even cause me to return it. Another minor annoyance is that the pockets in the front are right where the ties come across. Minor issue, but it would be nice if the pocket entrances were a few inches lower. If they made the straps about 8 inches longer and dropped the pockets a bit, this would be a 5 star product. Still not sure if I want to keep it or return it, it's that annoying to me.

Sizing

So, as an apron it’s great! Love the pocket placement as it’s to the side and not in your way. There were 2 things that are annoying about the apron though. Depending on how you wear your apron the straps are small. I usually wear my apron from the back then tie it in front so the straps aren’t super long thus getting in places they don’t need to be. I couldn’t do that with this apron as the straps are too small so if that is how you do it too then know that you can’t. I’m about 40” at the waist. The other issue is that because this is a cross back the apron shifts upwards towards your neck. It doesn’t stay in place and I often find myself adjusting it back down (If you can tie the straps around the the front like explained above ^ then this happens way less). But overall, great quality, good length and I’m happy with the purchase.

Been looking for long time for this

I finally found the perfect apron for me! Durable, lightweight and fits great on my shoulders! I dislike the aprons that go around the neck, this apron has the straps that cross on the back! Better comfort for me as I am a baker! I will be buying again. Packaged well and arrived fast!

Quality Apron

This apron is made from a good heavy material. My only complaint is that I wish the waist straps were wider. Waist straps work fine, I just like a wider strap.

Good value for the money

Comfortable, takes the pressure of the apron off your neck, which is invaluable during a long shift. Materiel is strong and resistant, easy to clean and care for. If you're a chef and in the market for a new apron, I cannot recommend this highly enough. They're now my every-day apron.

Love this new apron

Love this new apron, I will purchase more in the future. Simple basic and well made. The cross back looks neat and feels so much better than aprons that hang off the neck.

Awesome!

I bought these aprons for myself and two coworkers. These are the best aprons we have ever used. They take a little getting used to if you have never worn them before. But once you have you will never go back to regular aprons. The cross back design keep the straps off of your neck and holds the apron in place better than tying the strings around your waist. Plus these cover more of your clothes and protect nicely. I will be buying more of these for sure!
