Perfect to wear over pant legs in deer tick country

I garden in deer tick Lyme disease country, so I always tuck my pant legs into my socks and then spray with tick repellent. These are the first socks I have found that are long enough to stay up higher on the calf than the standard crew. The shaft is at least 13" long -- as you see in this photo. The gray is light enough color to see any of the little varmints before entering the house after a day outdoors. The added spandex should keep them in place well enough. I just received my delivery, so I haven't worn them enough to know their durability etc. So far, so good.

Long enough again

Thought I'd be leaving the Gold Toe otc socks behind when the last set I got was an inch or two shorter than they'd been for the years I've worn them (as I left another brand when its socks got shorter and didn't stay up as well as they had). But this new set of 3 I just received is back to full length and come almost to the back-of knee joint again. Please, TEC, keep them long. (photo of old and new attached)

Like putting your Foot into a Ball of Cotton

The socks are durable, tight and don't fall down, and extremely soft and thick. Just for the joy of putting them on and getting that feeling like your stepping into a sheep's deep wool it's worth buying them (it's a cotton sock but you get the idea). i've been buying these socks for years and wouldn't change to another brand unless they offer me free trials.

Knee High Cotton but not compression

Impossible to find mid-calf socks that stay in place so I've opted for these knee highs pulled down a bit. I must like them since I bought them twice. Warm in winter.

Great Socks

I have size 12 feet and these socks fit really well. I usually have issues with fits all sizes being too tight or slightly too short heal to toe. They stay up the whole day. Really great with boots.

Love these socks!

I'm a tall WOMAN who loves to be warm in the winter and these over the calf socks are awesome....soft, offer support and keep my feet dry. I just wish the heels were reinforced because they tend to wear thru quickly for me since I wear them faithfully. I will continue to order though, when needed.

Finally a sock for men. I wear size 15 shoes. If they were 1/2 inch longer for the “over the calf” they would be perfect.

Best socks.

Best socks I have ever owned. Great fit, they stay up and have enough elasticity to act as light compression socks. If I were still in the infantry I would have these socks to wear all the time. Exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely fantastic OTC socks.

I am 6'2" and this socks fits me perfectly reaching right upto the knees. Perfect size. It's very light material making it absolutely comfortable even when it covers your entire calf. The soft material of the socks add to the comfort. Highly recommended for those who are looking for OTC socks

Good quality good fit and hard wearing

I have worn the short socks for about 20years and found them to be very hard wearing for work.l have moved to the country and now wear wellies a lot so I thought I would try the under knee ones and they are excellent in wellies

Bought as another low compression sock

Though these are men's socks, I bought them for me, a female. I like them because they cover my foot well and pull up fairly easily to my knee. They fit my legs well even when they are swollen. They are quite warm, but don't make my legs feel hot. They don't slip down at all even when worn all day. I'm very pleased with them. The toe and heel have a different coloured patch. I have washed them several times since they arrived and they wash very well. I'm hoping they don't fray or get holes, but if they last for awhile I will reorder as they fill the bill for me.
