I love these socks been buying them for years. I was a bit worried as this said large size only. I'm a men's size 8.5-9 and the socks fit me well. I'm sure after a wash (i wash them in cold water) they will be even tighter, in hot they will fully shrink so don't do that). so no size problem here for me

Quality Wool Dress Socks

I buy these for myself and my Son in Law, a professional symphonic musician. He's been known to blow out the toes, but I never have. They are attractive, comfortable and warm.

Socks Super - Idiotic Packaging

The socks are great - true and trusted Gold Toe socks. But amazon does a very bad job of getting it to customers. it is packed loosely and so idiotically in an open inner plastic bag, that you cut into the socks when you open the mailing envelope.

Loose fitting socks

I like that these socks are affordable and have a high merino wool content. They seem to hold up ok in the wash, but I avoid putting them in the dryer. However, they do not fit well. The fabric bunches up in the toes, which is pretty annoying. I don’t have this problem with any other socks I own. The socks also tend to slip down my calves, not terribly, but more than they should. I wear size 10.5 dress shoes, and my legs aren’t super skinny. I wouldn’t recommend these socks unless you have larger feet. I like the Gold Toe Watson socks better. They also have a high wool content and fit very well. The Watson socks are quite thin though.

Great wool socks

I like these socks more than I expected. They're only 50% wool and so I didn't expect to like them. I've worn 100% wool socks for years. Happily, I was wrong. They're comfortable to wear. They do slide down my leg, though, which I don't mind but I can understand some might dislike. I've washed them many times and they still look and perform the same.

Dress socks almost affordable

If it weren't for sales, I would be starving naked. Sometimes, thrifty works, but cheap socks are no fun at all! Today, luxury knocked and I answered! After decades of believing you can get a good pair of socks for $4, I spent a small fortune for size 13 dress socks from Amazon. Gold Toe Windsor wool socks, 3 pair for $26.49! I couldn't believe I just paid $9 or a pair of socks! They fit like genuine dress socks, easy to put on and they launder well. I couldn't be happier. Maybe next year I'll get 3 more pair!
