My favorite heavy duty trash bag.
These are always strong and durable, especially since I'm know to continue adding to an already full bad. They've never ripped open even when pushed to the limit. The drawstring is also quite strong. The scent is hardly noticeable but still makes the purchase well worth it.

Scent is strong and pleasant, but we used these for our renovation and they were quite durable and useful. Glad we bought them for this tough job.

Update from after they changed the bags to the two layer bags. I was alerted by another customer that the bags on the page changed, and she scared me away from trying the new version so much I bought the Hefty bags. Well, I am back. I did not like those, they are stiff, but they slash through easy and I did not like the smell. I looked again into glad bags, and realized that they did not get thinner. They are now two layers. Each of the two is thinner, but together they make for a stronger bag. It works just like when the cashier at the grocery store double-bags your heavy milk cartons. I used up a smaller box of this new dual defense variety and went back on amazon to buy the bigger box. They work the same as the old ones. They are strong and do not rip under normal conditions. I like how stretchy they are. The outside layer is white, inside layer is black. The bags look gray from the outside as the black shows from under the white. It looks black from the inside, and you cannot see gray when it is in the garbage can in the kitchen. Original review: Those are my favorite bags. I use them in my regular size kitchen garbage can, because it is black and I do not like how white bags show when used inside of trash cans. And I do not like to use clear bags - who wants to see the garbage? So, black it is. I like that the bags are bigger than the can since I never have any problems closing the bags and can fit a pizza box or something extra that would not fit into the can and waits for its turn behind the can. Forceflex bags are truly tough, they can stretch around items instead of tearing, and the red ribbon inside is thick and attached securely, too, so it stays where it supposed to be, and I do not get any nasty surprises on my way to the outside bin, and my trash collectors never have to pick up fallen garbage from the road, too.

Barely Fit a 20 Gallon Brut
I thought buying a 30 gallon bag would ensure it fitting a 20 gallon brut can, but it just barely fits around the mouth of the can and doesn't fill out the inside of the can. The bags themselves are good. Strong, stretchy, and don't stink.

Ordered a similar bag a year ago and it stunk so bad like a dollar store air freshener so When ordering these I specifically read every line of the description and looked at every single picture and word on the box. Nowhere at it all does it say they are scented so i ordered them. Not only are they scented, the smell is so strong of dollar store air freshener it will make you gag. I used one, a day later the scent is still on my hands and my basement absolutely reeks from leaving the opened box down there over night. These are nasty, nasty, nasty unless you like the putrid overpowering scent of them. Me?…..put the whole box exactly where it belongs, the garbage . The MFG really should mark on the box or if nothing else put something in the description that these are scented.

Not 30 Gallon/dimensions same as 90L bags
I feel stupid for not checking before hand, but these are not 113L 30 gallon bags. The box says 30 gallon, but the dimensions clearly are the same size as a 90L 20 gallon bags 76x83 inches. Not reading the dimensions I bought the 30 gallon bags thinking they would fit a Rubbermaid 98l garbage can but they still aren’t big enough. The bags themselves seem to be of good quality and I can carry a 14kg dog food bag in one without it breaking. So there’s that. But, they just aren’t big enough for 30 gallon cans

Not the same as adveritised
Glad has obviously changed their "ForceFlex Plus" formula. Previously bought batch was strong with the red ties. They held together like no one's business. This new version rips on anything sharper than a ball. Don't even try heavier items as the bag will tear as if you were using a paperbag in the rain. Stay clear of this version.

Not the same!!!
These garbage bags are not like the usual ones. They DO NOT have red ties but grey ones and they seem a lot more thinner than the regular ones. It's almost like they look dark grey and not black. I wish I had read the reviews for 2020 but I didn't think I had to for Glad garbage bags lol

Super cheap quality. The bag ripped with regular garbage in it. Nothing heavy... Disappointed and embarrassed. It opened as I was carrying it out to the curb. I recommend using noname brand bags instead. They are sturdier. Only good thing about these bags is that they smell pleasant.
