Good for snowboarding/skiing
I previously got the sleeve ones for snowboarding - the ones that just have padding and they are definitely not enough. These have padding behind the tough material to make the knee pad comfy. You can take a break on the snow kneeling on these and it feels pretty comfy while doing so. You will want to do the straps as tight as you can.

Effective kneepads
They work and they fit nicely (make sure to pick the right size)

Spend a little more for better protection
If you have bad knees or skate with some speed, get the higher quality pads. I fell in these at low speed at the rink twice and it really didn’t protect my knee at all.

Buena proteccion.
Buen material, buenas costuras, buena proteccion.

It should do the job!
As I wrote in other reviews about Triple 8 products I am a big fan of the quality and comfort of there skateboard protective gear .. These knee pads are pretty basic as far as quality/durability and will probably do the job if you crash a few times.. But for $19.00 what do you expect they're significantly less bulky than the KP 22 knee pads and far more comfortable. I would rather wear something less bulky with a little less protective qualities than not wear any protective padding at all, I know myself I wont wear pads if they are too cumbersome and bulky so if you're looking for a light to medium duty knee pad and your a smaller rider these should be your go to.. But if you're crashing on a consistent basis and are a heavier rider 150+lbs I would get the KP 22 knee pads!

Excellent
I know, I'm not the typical customer here. I bought these to mount my VR knee trackers. They work perfectly for this! The bolt fits through the pad rivets PERFECTLY.

I'm not sure how I feel about these...
I think if I could do it again I wouldn't have ordered these. They seem kind of flimsy. I'll be using them to skate my mini ramp, so I don't need super sturdy pads, but I'm not sure if these will do anything, honestly. There just isn't much to them. They aren't big and bulky, which can be a good thing, but the straps aren't very comfortable when wearing shorts. They dig into the back of your leg. I think these will do for a little while but I'll probably upgrade at some point. They were cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. In retrospect I should have paid a few more $$ and got something a little better.

Good quality. Large enough to wear over jeans but not for people those with big legs.

Saved me in a 35kph crash
If I could give this 6 stars I would. I wear these with the wrist guards from the same company while I ride my e-skateboard. About a week ago my friend was riding the same e-skateboard without pads and ended up breaking his wrist in a minor crash. This morning, I ended up wiping out on it while at max speed, but the pads sacrificed themselves and tore themselves apart saving me. I’m a bit sore but absolutely had to leave a 5 star review. Pros: - comfortable - can wear over jeans (saved my pants) - easy to put on and take off - look great Cons: - could be a bit more sturdy, but better they break than me

Some of the better pads out there.
I have circulation issues, but these don't bother me like most pads do. A lot of folk complain about tightness, but that's kind of the point. Try putting on loose ice skates and jumping around, see how quickly you break an ankle. You really don't want knee pads that shift to the side or slide up and down, unless you don't really want knees.

Great for Snowboarding
I have pretty big thighs and knees) i am 5' 10 and 188pds and I got these to help me because i am a beginner at Snowboarding. I had many falls while wearing them and i never felt a thing. They also didn't crack or break and they handed the cold and snow quite well. If you plan on buying i recommend to keep them from slipping, put them over your pants or shorts.

Perfect fit and function.
Perfect. I'm 5'0, 95lbs and this fit comfortably and tight as it should. I've tried juniors which was way too tight and adult small which was too small, and like Goldie locks, this was just right lol. Used it at an indoor skatepark and fell a few times. They protected me 100%

Poor condition
I got these in poor quality, there are some scratches to it. (looks like it has been worn) and size is too big for me. I'm planning to return this.
