Very good visibility but gets dirty easily, back panel POLICE does not match the front panel POLICE

I like the fact that the colors are very high visibility, the reflective strip is very high visibility, it's got wraparound side velcro straps which are very very good. It's got two pockets on the front which are handy. However it doesn't have a good closer system on the front. The front closure is velcro and it doesn't go all the way down to the very bottom of the vest so in windy weather the bottom 3 in of the vest fly up and they are not serving a useful purpose. When they fly up the material that you are wearing under the vest shows up. If it's a dark police jacket or a dark police shirt, then there's no value whatsoever to that. The whole point is to cover as much of your torso as possible with high visibility material. So I would definitely correct that by extending the velcro closure on the front all the way down to the very bottom of the vest. Or, even better, replace the velcro closure system with metal snaps since the metal snaps are much more durable. Also, the color and font of the rear police panel is very different compared to the front police panel strips that are on the vertical part of the front of the vest. In my opinion the color and the font should match 100% on the front and the back. It doesn't make any sense to me why they would choose separate fonts and separate colors. Also, I would offer the ability for the back of the best to be customized with the name of your police agency, maybe even the officer's name, and I would put additional reflective striping at the very bottom of the traffic safety vest. The more reflective material you have on the best, the better. I would add some type of body camera stability loop on the front. Similar to the type of loops found on the front of police shirts and police jackets. It would be a strip of material about 1/2 in wide and then about an inch and a half, possibly 2 in, long. It would be in the center of the vest right where the velcro closure starts. That would allow your body camera to have a relatively stable platform, instead of having to hang from the vest and flip-flop left and right, up and down. In this day and age body cameras are available to officers almost 100% of the time, and especially on traffic details they are useful. On traffic details the conflict between bad drivers and police officers having to address the bad driving issues means that there's a very strong likelihood that there's going to be a verbal conflict between the bad driver and the officer that is trying to keep the public safe.. and keep the bad driver safe. People love to cuss the police for no good reason, and so therefore body cameras are useful. I've even seen people intentionally drive over traffic cones just to piss off the officer, so adding a stable body cam cloth loop on the front of the vest is a very good idea.

Solid 2.5

I'd give this a solid 2.5. It's a very cheap quality product, the Velcro is already separating from the rest of the material. It's not made to withstand the fire service.

Great fire department high-viz vests!

Excellent quality. I bought these for my fire department to improve our nighttime visibility during emergency calls. The bests are highly reflective and fit very well. There are enough size adjustment options to adapt to any physique. Some vests are less expensive but they feel cheap and I don’t think they will hold up during the rigors of emergency calls. I think these vests will provide us years of service. So far, so good!

The words/ letters fall and doesn’t hold up well! It’s cheaper for a reason? Don’t buy it If you want the vest to last? It’s cheap
