Great vest for many occasions
I like these vests because they are inexpensive, give excellent high-vis coverage area, and include plenty of reflective stripes. I purchased several because: I like to have one for work when job sites require it. The large panels are perforated to allow air to pass through so you don't get hot. Also, many job sites require tear-away vests, especially if there is a lot of rotating machinery, and this vest has five tear-away points (both shoulders, the front closure, and the adjustable sides). I have another style vest that has many more pockets, but it is not tear-away or perforated. It is also not adjustable for size, but it is still a nice vest. Overall, I prefer this one because I usually have plenty of pockets in my work clothes anyway. I also use these as a vest for running, especially when I travel. They are lightweight, allow air to pass through, and there is an inside pocket on the upper left chest. I can place an ID and room key card there if my running shorts don't have pockets (usually don't). When running around busy hotel areas, it helps to be seen! The pocket is large enough for an ipod or other MP3 player. I also decided to use this vest for motorcycle riding. Hi-viz is especially important in traffic, but I wanted to be able to choose any motorcycle jacket and not worry about it being hi-viz specific. In this way, I am able to put the hi-viz vest over my jacket or choose not to have hi-viz in certain situations. Also, I don't have to worry about UV light fading my expensive jacket or it getting dirty and losing visibility. It is easier to wash the vest or throw it away and get another one. The adjustable straps on the side allow the vest to conform to just me (when running) or in full protective gear (when riding). I am 6'3" and 235 pounds and I wear 2XL jackets. There is PLENTY of adjustability both ways with this vest and it can be snugged down over a riding jacket so it doesn't flap around. I highly recommend these vests for safety and they are a good value.

Small and unobtrusive
This is my second vest like this. They are lightweight and simple. I don't need a bunch of pockets on my vest, just make me visible.

Billy Jack, Don't Give Them An Excuse!
. We all have idiot drivers, co-workers, and hunters, so don’t give them an excuse to say “I didn’t see you!” The 3M TEKK Day and Night Safety Vest works most superbly when riding a bicycle. The material allows air to reach your body which is great during hotter summer days. Appropriate warm clothing should be worn underneath the vest during the winter months. It is made to be comfortably worn by a man or woman. With this high-vis vest, they’ve GOT to see you. So if they come “too close” you are justified in doing a Billy Jack: putting your right foot on the side of his left molar, which the latter would be kicked out. Stay Safe, ...GhillieMan (aka Chappy)

Pleased with vest
I haven't yet been hit by a car when I'm walking after dusk & wearing my vest. So, I say this vest was a good inVESTment.

Does What It's Supposed To
I needed a safety vest for a Ragnar Relay event (running at night). Since I may never need it again, I wanted something inexpensive. This did the trick. It was a little big on me (I'm a petite woman) & it took a little extra attention to make it stay closed & not fall off my shoulders when I was running, but it was fine. There's a little tiny pocket that's handy, but do make sure that your items don't bounce out of it like mine did. A great deal.

The most inexpensive insurance I can think of for riding in bicycle lanes
I would not dare ride my electric skateboard without wearing my vest, and while it is somewhat tent-like (in part because I am too lazy to attach the Velcro), I feel that it greatly helps my safety by making me much more visible to motorists.

Durable after multiple uses
Bought this for my car emergency kit. I have ended up using it for visibility when helping out with community events. Well made. So far, I don't see any indication that it is going to tear or disintegrate on me.

drivers see you a mile away at night
My husband and I love these vests, and so do drivers in our neighborhood. We are regular night time walkers, and before using the vests, had to jump out of the way of oncoming vehicles quite a bit. Now, we have drivers stop and thank us for wearing the vests, because they can see us very clearly. These are lightweight, one size truly does fit all (I am 5' 1" and my husband is 5' 10"). No problem wearing it in the heat of a summer night, and they also fit over our winter jackets. Love them!
