Comfortable but Amazon's page has dubious marketing - 3.5 stars
This is my review of the Gildan No-Show socks. If I could give half stars, I would rate these as 3.5 but I'm going to round up since these are comfortable for me and work well with all my shoes. As far as socks go, these are serviceable. They aren't too thick so they feel pretty nice on your feet. The main fiber in these is nylon so I can't say for sure how well they will hold up with repeated wearings/washings. Polyester wears pretty well but nylon can have durability issues especially if it gets exposed to the sun for a long period of time. These socks are soft right out of the package, though, so they feel good on your feet and should get softer after a washing. But I'm removing one star (one and a half, if I could) due to some odd things in the marketing on the store page for these socks and on the socks themselves. First of all, the store page says these socks have built-in "arch support." I can't see what they mean by that unless they are talking about the blue band around the middle of the footbed. But there is NO extra padding or anything to give these socks actual arch support. Personally, I'm not a runner and don't care either way, but you should be aware that there is no extra material in the arch. If you are a runner and need this you might look elsewhere. Another odd thing is the materials list on the bag. It lists "80% Nylon, 23% Repreve Polyester, 10% Polyester, and 5% Spandex." I'm no rocket scientist but that math adds up to 118 percent. Not sure how they could have crammed in MORE than 100% material into these socks. They either have an error or need to clarify what, exactly, these materials are being used for. Additionally, the socks themselves have an "L" and an "R" stitched on them implying the socks are stitched together for the shape of your foot. I'm not buying it. If you turn these inside out, all the seams are straight and symmetrical (see my attached picture showing one sock inside-out with straight seams and a symmetrical toe). There is no way these are sewn for the shape of your foot. I even tried putting the "L" socks on my right foot and the "R" socks on my left foot and found they felt exactly the same. Bottom line - if you want a fairly thin no-show sock that is NOT made out of a natural fiber, these are fine. They are comfortable on the foot and the size is fine. Just be aware that some of the claims about these socks in their marketing are a bit dubious. And if you already know you like nylon socks then you will probably like these as well.

Look nice, feel nice, nice value... nice socks!
These socks are a solid choice if you're looking for pairs in this style. Here's what I'm liking: 1. Appearance: These look much nicer in person than they do in the pictures. The pattern makes them seem a little more "high-end" or "rich" than your standard white sock. 2. Feel: They are comfortable to wear, no complaints. 3. Weight: They feel solid/high-quality, yet they're not too thick - definitely thin enough to feel light/breathable. Nice material. 4. Value: For the price and number of pairs you get, these seem like a good deal. Here's what I'm not quite as big a fan of: 1. Right/Left differences: I'm not 100% sure why these need to have a specific right/left sock. I have similar socks that are universal and they seem to work just as well. Of course I always pull two "R" or two "L" socks out of the pile... 2. FIt: The fit is fine, but it is slightly tighter than I'd expect... I wear a size 10.5, so I can't imagine how tight they would be for a size 11 or 12... 3. Not "No-Show": These say they "hit at the ankle" which is correct, but that's too high for no-show socks. They definitely show, at least a few centimeters. They should hit far below the ankle. Luckily I don't care, as I'm just wearing them for running/jogging, but keep this in mind if you need true "no-show." Overall though, I'm happy with these socks and recommend them, keeping in mind the caveats mentioned above. Nice!

Size runs small for men's
Hubby doesn't find these comfortable because they don't complete cover the heel of his foot due to being too small despite the declared size. I ended up with them. They fit me fine but they aren't special in any way comfort-wise.

Pretty Nice Socks
I was surprised by the large range of size in this sock (6-12). I was worried they'd be a little small for my husband who wears a size 11 - 11 1/2 shoe. But they actually ended up fitting well. The material is a little different than what my husband typically wears - he's used to a softer sock, and these are nylon/polyester/spandex. I feel like they might stiffen up sooner than some socks, but because they are a tighter/stiffer sock, they might last longer, as well. Husband seems happy with them.

Stretchy, comfy ankle socks
Soon as I unpackaged these socks I realized they weren't like others I've owned. You can feel the material is different, and I guess that's from having some spandex included? They feel like they're thicker than other socks even though they aren't. But soon as you put them on you can feel how they grip your foot and stretch out as need be. They're also really comfortable and there's nothing annoying around the toes that puts pressure on your skin. I hate when I can feel the threads or little knots in there rubbing against my toes. No such issue here. They definitely do wick away the moisture. My feet will sweat throughout the day, and these absorb it well. Better than my typical cotton socks. They're very much ankle socks so you won't see much if any of them in most sneakers. They're labeled left and right but I don't really pay mind to it. Not sure if it really matters! Last note, they do not make me hot, at least no more than any other socks. So if that's a concern for you, no worries here. I can wear these all day no problem. Washed them a few times already as well and they're holding up great (along with their fit, they haven't changed at all). For reference, I wear size 10 men's sneakers and these fit perfectly.
