Sweet deal

I got this on deal of the day for like $9 bucks and man is it great. Durable, easy to install, nice and sleek. Waterproof. A great box for my new home. No regrets.

“Pops” every time you close it

The media could not be loaded. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to put up; adds a nice touch to the porch, easy to add decals too. Just wish it had a smoother open/close to it! (Please excuse dirt around it- it’s winter and porch cleaning is a non-starter!)

Good but no screws

It’s great but it doesn’t have screws and parts to install it so you need to buy that and is extra money

Semi-detaching lid

I don't understand why the lid of the mailbox semi-detaches each time it's opened. When you try to close the lid is has to pop back into place on the 'hinge' - thus the loud pop others have discussed here. If you watch the re-attaching process you'll see the hinge twist before closing. No way this can last long before it just breaks. Having to return.

Noisy

What I did to counteract the noise was spray the hinges with WD-40. Poof!! Noise gone!!!

Serves purpose but no hardware, terrible instructions, hard to mount

Looks nice and the size is good for large mail like magazines and small packages. However it is rather difficult to install. If you only read the listing description and not scroll all the way down to look at the images, you will not know the mounting hardware is sold separately. I did not see that and was unprepared. Also, the instructions on the bix are terrible - missing a lot of information. Like the fact the back appears to be detachable to make it easy to mount. But there is no mention and we were afraid we would break it not knowing how to. Thankfully I have very small hands and a stubby screwdriver, otherwise there is no way to screw it into the wall. Buyer beware. It does look nice though and serves it's purpose. Also beware, meant for areas with overhead coverage like a front covered porch due to weather.

Where's the mounting screws?

Got the product. I can live with it being plastic. But at least include mounting screws.

Beautiful Design but wish it was Sturdier

This mailbox is a beautiful, clean design and looks fabulous hung outside. I wanted plastic so it wouldn't rust or fade, but I wish the plastic was heavier-duty. The lid self-closes which is nice, but when fully open it clicks against its plastic hinges, which makes me feel longevity will not be a feature of this product. I will see how it holds up to our winters. We did have a very windy day lately and the lid remained closed, which was great. I hope it does survive the winter as I love the design. We also had to drill screw holes in the bottom ledge of the mailbox to attach it to our house siding, as the two top holes were not secure enough, leaving the bottom loose and protruding slightly from the house siding. We wanted to make sure it was more secured when we attached it. Also Note: Hardware is not included, as stated on the box, I didn't see this in the ad post (maybe I missed it)

Good solid mailbox

So easy to put up. It looks really nice and is the perfect size for any mail or items dropped off for me.

good value looks nice at a lower price

does the job at a reasonable price and is well built and being plastic in a cold climate will last and be less noisy setting my pets off less as they hate the mailman not his fault but built into doggie's DNA

Very cheap plastic

This was well below my expectations. Can't see how it could possibly withstand winter because the plastic was very brittle feeling. Also, the lid had to be 'jimmied' to work every single time. My postman would have been very frustrated. Sent it back.
