Not durable at all

Ripped at pockets as soon as I stretched a little bit for comfort, since you know it's suppose to be a jacket for warmth.. lasted a solid 3 minutes out of packaging ????

Runs very small

I love the color of this deep oliver diamond-quilted jacket. It's well-made and has a smooth-running zipper that goes right up through a high collar. It has a strange left breast patch pocket; why? Weird. The hands pockets have zip closures, and are properly set in the place that is natural to rest your hands. That all said, it runs at least a full size small. I would say that the I wear a 2X, sometimes 3X, but this honestly wouldn't even fit on my arms properly, and came nowhere close to closing. You might wonder if I flatter myself to think it should have fit, but to double check I had my size 16 wife - who's 5'11" and is often comfortable in men's outerwear - try it on. She normally wears a men's L, and can wear an XL without it looking *bad*. This 2X fit her like a mens XL.

Stay Warm

The Docker's Men's The Oliver Quilted Jacket is a very good jacket. It's a medium weight jacket but it is very warm and comfortable. It is a simple, basic jacket. There really are no frills. It has two large open pockets for hands and one open pocket on the left breast. It has an inner pocket with a zipper for valuables. It has a zipper closure. The zipper slides smoothly and is sturdy. It has a basic standing collar at the neck. It doesn't have a hood. The jacket has a smooth lining. The cuffs at the wrist are elastic and made of soft fabric. It's a great jacket. It's sufficiently warm for mildly cold weather. It isn't enough for subzero temperatures. It is water resistant. It fits well and looks great.

This is a nice colder weather jacket, lightweight but warm and good for cooler Fall weather, rain or shine. The outer fabric is a stiff, plasticky-feeling fabric that isn't all that pleasant but it does a good job of keeping out the cold and (to a certain extent) the wet. It's not perfectly waterproof but you should stay dry as long as it's not pouring. It's an all-black jacket with a quilted diamond design and ribbed neck, cuffs. The look is classic and I would think the cut would be good for most men's silhouettes. I found the sleeves just a little short and the shoulder a bit snug; I can still wear it fairly comfortably but I'd say the fit is slightly small for tall, long-limbed guys. Nice overall, though. I'll be putting this jacket through its paces in the current Fall rains here in the PNW. I expect it will see a lot of use.

Like a Quilted Suit Jacket

This Dockers Men's The Oliver Coated Cotton Diamond Quilted Jacket is lightly padded and a good cool weather jacket when you want to look more put-together. My son is wearing this Small size, and the sizing appears accurate. He's in his early teens, and it fits him just slightly loosely, like all men's smalls do now. The inner lining of this jacket is 100% polyester, with a fairly matte textured, smooth torso liner, and a much slicker shiny sleeve lining (also 100% polyester) so your shirts don't get caught when you put this on/ take it off. The shell is a comfortably breathable 60% cotton /40% polyester. The quilting and olive color of this jacket are refined looking and attractive, and this looks very much like a quilted suit jacket in many ways based on the cut.

Middle Weight Jacket....

My husband likes this jacket. As far as weight goes, it's in the middle range. I wouldn't call it lightweight, but it's not heavy either. He still found the warmth to be on the lighter side, though. He wouldn't recommend it for super cold days. The outside has a quilted look and it's a *bit* on the stiffer, rougher side(though still pretty easy to move in). It's a heavy duty, rugged type of jacket, but it was still comfortable for him. It has pockets for the hands and one on the left chest(all open, not zippered). The sleeves are cuffed(keeping warmth in better) and the zipper part has worked well so far. My husband has been pretty pleased with it.

Calidad Baja a regular.
