Very very happy with this jacket!

Last minute purchase after leaving my rain jacket on a plane. I have other Mountain Hardware gear and hoped it would have the durability of the other items. The jury is still out on that but I love the way it fits and the material. Quiet, soft, and wears well. Two heavy downpours and not a drop inside. Packs small too.

Wear as outer wear against wind and rain. Like that you can pack into chest pocket.

Absolutely best rain coat I have owned. Between marmot, Patagonia, and columbia. This is the winner hands down. Brwmeathable and light and stretchy. Highly recommend. No water got through during some heavy rain I walked through while working.

Great lightweight shell

Great lightweight all purpose jacket. I’ve worn this winter camping as an outer layer, for biking around town, or just to go get groceries. It looks good, blocks the wind, but is still breathable for breaking a sweat. I recommend going up a size for athletic builds. I bought a large and am 5’ 9” 180lbs.

Held up great in some downpours

Not you old fashioned squeaky loud rain coat. The stretch is nice and the fabric is much better than the older coats you could hear from a mile away. I’ve used it a number of times in the rain (second wettest spring on record where I live) and it has been great. Planning on taking it to Europe in the fall, so the small packing size will work great.

GOOD FOR HIKING

not as light as some but more durable. use for my backpacking rain gear, especially like the under arm zips, they really keep you from overheating. only used in light rain that didn't last long but beaded up the rain nicely. yet to try in a full on sustained downpour

Perfect!

I had this identical jacket for years while in U.S. After years of hard use hiking, biking, commuting the shell and seams simply broke down. I loved that jacket and held onto it. I finally purchased a new one. Same jacket, same high quality, feel and function. Packs small and tight. Pops out and keeps me dry even in a mid-level rain. Perfect!

Great jacket

I usually buy large shirts and the medium fits me great even with a puffy underneath. Surprisingly thin and light.
