Warm & nicely made

my daughter outgrew her pink and purple “girly” stage this last year and wanted a coat to look more put together and styled. This coat is a perfect compromise between a black or brown “adult” type of coat and a kids coat. It’s perfect for a burgeoning tween or teen. It still has the stripes of pink and white on the sleeves to help break up the coat with some color but beyond that it’s a nice deep blue and looks grown up while still looking a bit playful. My daughter is a tall and already developing 9 year old. She usually wears a size up with an 11/12 but the sizing is a bit different where I ordered a 12/14 which I think is about the same as an 11/12 depending on the brand. Anyways it fit a little long in the sleeves but that’s exactly as I expected. I try to order up so she could get another year out of it and with Nauticas usual quality I expect her to. So I found it to be pretty close to an accurate sizing. The coat hits about mid thigh-closer to her knees than waist but I did size up so that may be a bit different with your child. The coat feels thick enough to withstand a Wisconsin winter and has a nice faux fur hood to keep the snow out. I had her put the coat on and it looked really flattering and I almost wish they had one for adults! ;-) it came within two days of me ordering it and was well packaged. I will update further on in the winter if the coat has any issues or isn’t as warm as it looks but for now it looks and feels high quality and warm. Two thumbs up!

Nice quality, cute and durable. What more could you ask for?

This coat is so warm and looks adorable on my 6 year old. Ordered a 6x (her usual size) and it was a little big so she’ll be able to wear it for 2 seasons. It’s nice and long so it keeps her warmer than her previous coat (polo brand) that would expose her back when she bent over. The pockets are lined and there is a little patch on the inside of the coat to write a name/phone number. The sleeves have knitted fabric on the ends to keep cold air from going up the sleeve so again, nice and warm. The hood is not detachable, but since this is for cold weather, I’m not sure why you would want to since it keeps the neck and head warm. The zipper on this coat is small size like an adult coat, not the chunky plastic that is usually on kids coats. The fabric is very nice quality and stains easily come out in the wash. Still looks brand new after a few washes and being outside almost every day. I will definitely repurchase when this one is outgrown!

Pretty in person

I had a feeling this coat would run a size too small so I ordered a size up and it fits perfectly. My daughter is tall for a 7 year old and really thin. The pockets warm cotton along with the inside of the coat, the hem of the sleeves are fitted, and it closes with a zipper and buttons. The hood doesn’t zip off so when washing I will air dry so the fur on the coat won’t tangle or melt. I took away a star because of cotton filling is coming out from around the neck.

Hermosa y súper calientita!

La tela está deliciosa!! Mis hijas están felices con sus chamarras. La talla es un poco más pequeña de lo habitual. A mi hija de 7 ( que es de talla petite) le quedó bien la talla 8-10. A mi niña de 8 años le compré la 12-14 y le quedó un poco larga de abajo pero casi justa de las mangas. Pienso que les durarán 2 años quedándoles muy bien. Valen la pena para esta temporada de frío.

Muy útil para la temporada de frio, con un toque en rosa gold super femenino que a mi y a mi niña nos encantó... Respecto a la talla... bien, mi niña tiene 4 casi 5 y la talla 6 nos quedó perfecta (considerando que mi niña usa ya casi toda su ropa en talla 6 por ser muy alta)

Chamarra

Creo que es una buena réplica. Aunque no estoy seguro de su autenticidad por detalles como que elnlogo es bordado hacia arriba y marca la tela de la chamarra cosa que nunca había visto en este tipo de chamarras. La chamarra es buena y creo que el precio no es tan disparado.
