It’s a raincoat by Columbia - can’t go wrong

Bought this Columbia raincoat for my husband. He is 6’3” and 180lbs and usually wears a large in many brands, but he’s thin and can get away with mediums, as well. So, purchased this rain coat in a medium and it fits right on for his build. We are a family who wears Columbia head to toe for many years. This rain coat does its job. No leaking at seams. Enough pockets for day hikes and regular use in our suburb and city lifestyle. Color isn’t too bright - which is nice. It’s specifically a rain coat (not a winter coat) so it is thin and lightweight. My husband will layer for more warmth or wear over his Mountain Hardwear water resistant coat.

Columbia Evapouration Jacket Men's Regular XL

I already owned two Columbia Watertight II jackets in XL, so, since Columbia advertises both models have the same "classic" fit, I ordered an XL in the Evapouration jacket. Maybe it was just the XL that I rec'd, but it fit much tighter in the shoulders and bicep than my Watertight II jackets...I had to send it back. Other than the fit, there was nothing wrong with the jacket. In all, I own about 12 Columbia jackets/base layer fleece tops and they're always a good quality product.

Lightweight and Very Durable

The build quality on the jacket exceeded my expectations! Perfect jacket to pack for any weather. It can be used as an outer shell in almost any condition if layered correctly underneath. I’ve found use for the underarm vents much more than expected when on beach hikes or in warmer climate. I have also used the jacket as a shell in a winter storm, and found the hood and all ergonomics of the jacket to work well when under brittle and difficult conditions. Finally, I really like the inlay of the jacket; that’s just a personal note, but take it as you will.

Very waterproof and smart

I love this jacket, I have used it in the rain several times now and it hasn't let water in. Even with the pit zips closed I don't sweat in this like l do in the Columbia Watertight II. The pit zips are an awesome feature for higher intensity activities, they really help a lot. The only negative for me was the lack of mesh lining, it is uncomfortable on bare skin. This isn't an issue if you have a long sleeve top on underneath, but l find that l often need to pull this out my pack when hiking so I just have a t-shirt on so it sticks to my skin. Minor issue that I can live with, l am very happy with this jacket!

Received in best quality. Completely water proof and haven't tested in wind but it's completely a Columbia quality.

Ligera, impermeable y transpirable.

The media could not be loaded. Me encantó, es bastante cómoda, práctica y cumple su función, incluso puedo decir que sobrepasó mis expectativas. La he probado en diferentes intensidades de lluvia, y en todas ha cumplido. De hecho adquirí un pantalón y unos tenis waterproof de la misma marca y ahora puedo pasar hora y horas bajo la lluvia. :D

preciosa y cubre muy bien de las lluvias

muy bonita, se nota la calidad, cubre perfectamente de la lluvia sin filtraciones, se ve mucho mejor en vivo que en la foto, viene un poco amplia, la pedí chica y en otras marcas como spyder, arctix, jack wolfskin, soy mediano.
