Great for chilly days while raking leaves.

The quality of the stitching is top-notch. The outer material is soft flannel, as expected. There is an inner quilted, stitched liner to cut out the bitter chill. The hood is a plus to protect the ears and neck from the cold and dampness. The hood is not cumbersome if you don't want to wear it. It's sewn onto the jacket, so if you toss it off your head, it doesn't obstruct your view. It is really two jackets in one: One for outdoors to be worn over a shirt or sweater on chilly days, and one for wearing in the house with only a tee shirt. Saving on the heating bill? This jacket keeps you warm, but not overly hot. It has the right amount of insulation to keep you comfortable. Plus, it just feels good when wearing it. I bought one for myself. Then when I had a friend's birthday coming up, I bought one for him. It seems as if he's always wearing it whenever he's not dressed up for work. The buttons are durable and securely fastened. There are no frayed threads along the seams. It's a quality product. I figured the size of the jacket by using the Size Chart. My friend's shirt size has a 17-1/2" neck circumference. According to the chart, a 17-1/2" neck would be an XL (extra large). The Extra Large fit him perfectly. I recommend this jacket without reservation.

Good jacket for a cooler day

I like the fit and feel of this a lot. It's very lightweight, a decent looking jacket and should be good for the billions of 50 degree days we have here in the winter. Not wild about the buttons - I prefer a zip-up - but I'm going to see if I can live with the buttons.

Nice quality hooded flannel

Liked the flannel but the pockets are way to small My keys were hanging out the side pocket and almost lost the all important I phone. Gonna have to have my friend sew in bigger pockets. Deeper is actually what I meant! But a really nice flannel all in all.

Great jacket

This is wonderful when it is a little chilly outside. I even wear it inside when I am a little chilly. The fabric is very comfortable. It also fits very well. It is true to size.

Really Good but with small critiques

I like the style on this and it is pretty warm but it has a weird fit. I am 5' 11". 210 lbs with a muscular build in the arms and shoulders and a Medium fit perfectly. My only issue is the pockets on the side seem like they are too far back and you need to reach un-naturally far back to put your hands in them. This isn't as big of a deal but the pockets also seem to puff the jacket out a lot on the sides, so if you are looking for a slimmer fit around the torso, this may not be the way to go. Otherwise it is comfortable and as advertised.

I'm impressed with it. It's warm.

Quality is great. Inner lining is great. Color is great (I got blue). It fits a little large on me. Some reviews said it fit a bit small. (Especially on the other Wrangler one like this with no hood)... I was worried I was going to have to get an XL. I got a large and it's a bit huge on me. No worries because I'm currently bulking up. (I'm 6ft tall and 210lbs) However, it makes me wonder how much shrinking I can expect from washing it. Normally I'm about 170 lbs and probably would've still taken a chance on Large... but apparently I would've been swimming in it. Even as it stands, it makes me look like I'm almost 300lbs because it's quite big. I also wondered (based on another review) if the color would be faded... but the blue is nice and vibrant. It's a LOT more like a jacket than a regular hoodie. Partly due to the sort of quilted inner lining, partly due to how big and warm and cozy it is I guess. If it's around 0 degrees I can get away with just this plus t-shirt under, no REAL winter jacket/coat. Like some other options out there, the design for this one could've probably benefited from an inner zipper and then the buttons... and of course some dudes would prefer snaps instead of buttons. Lady loves it. I'm impressed with it. It's warm. Pockets are useful.
