I love this jacket

I recently went on a trip to Ireland and England, and this jacket underwent a trial by fire *erm* rain (buckets of it). Global warming is a fact and the weather certainly proved that temperature wise, so the lightweight material of the jacket was perfect for the limited wind and rain. I bought an XL as I wanted to be able to layer in case I needed to and it worked great with and without a sweater underneath. This jacket is simple and really does the job. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a lightweight windbreaker

I wanted a windbreaker that would keep me cool on a warm

Bought this for a windy hike and it fit quite well. I wanted a windbreaker that would keep me cool on a warm,windy day yet I could wear with a hoodie underneath for a colder, windy day. I initially bought this from the actual Columbia site in a large as the reviews made it seem like I would need a larger size if I wanted to fit a hoodie light hoodie or sweater underneath.However, the large arrived and it felt a bit baggy, even with a hoodie or sweater underneath. The fabric around the chest and waist was too baggy and square while the arms were quite baggy. Wearing it without the hoodie or sweater was an even more unattractive look. So, i returned that large and bought this medium and lo and behold, the medium was perfect for what I wanted. The medium was a little more fitted and with the hoodie underneath, I still had enough room but the windbreaker retained a more curvy and fitted shape that did not look like a square sack. It also was very comfortable on the hike and kept me cool yet protected from the scratchy plants on the trail.

Runs TINY.

I’m usually a size small but always go medium for longer length and a baggy fit. This medium was extremely snug and very tapered in at the waist. Not what I wanted.

Lovin it

I ordered a large and it fit slightly baggy not too much which is what I wanted. I live in Oregon where it's ALWAYS raining! And this does not have me feeling soaked under. Whether I wear a hoodie underneath and this jacket on top or just regular shirt and the jacket I stay dry. I like that it's light weight so even sometimes I can throw it into my tote sized purse because even if it's beautiful and sunny that can (and most likely) will change to cloudy rainy weather I'll be prepared. Definitely recommend this :) however if you want something insulated this won't be for you, as I've said I've worn a hoodie underneath and that was just fine.

Great windbreaker

I love this windbreaker. The fit is beautiful as it's smaller around the waist. The feel is very lightweight. This is definitely for warmer weather (I live in Miami). If you live in colder climates, you might need something a bit thicker or a thermal top underneath.

Overall it was not the best purchase, and I would not recommend this product

The price what a little high, because of the brand. But the color has more of a shiny finish but its not too obvious. The material is water proof but it is extremely thin. I purchased a north face resolve after buying this product because it was not as warm as expected for a windbreaker. The string at the bottom is very inconvenient because they lay on the outside of the jack and not inside. Overall it was not the best purchase, and I would not recommend this product.

Absolut NICHT wasserdicht!

Ich habe mir diesen schönen Windbreaker für eine mehrtägige Wanderung gegönnt, da er platzsparend ist und zusammengeknüllt nahezu in eine Handfläche passt. Zudem soll er laut Beschreibung auch wasserdicht sein. Und genau das war der Punkt, wieso ich mich für diese Jacke entschied. Zu meinem Bedauern wurde ich schnell vom Gegenteil überzeugt, als es auf dem Berg plötzlich anfing zu regnen. Bereits nach wenigen Minuten wurde ich von oben bis unten klitschnass. Die Lust am Wandern verging mir in diesem Augenblick und ich wünschte mir meinen alten Regenponcho herbei. Wie gesagt, diese Windjacke ist zwar ganz schön und sitzt auch gut, doch gegen Regen kann diese Jacke absolut nichts ausrichten! Nach wenigen Minuten ist man eben nass. Daher ist die Beschreibung auch irreführend und falsch! Ich habe diese Jacke wieder zurück gesendet, da sie für mich aufgrund der starken Wasserdurchlässigkeit nutzlos ist.

REGENjacke und WASSERabweisendes Material??? Äh, nein!

Endlich brach der Herbst an, bei dem es gewohntermaßen auch regnet, und ich freute mich darauf, endlich die neue Jacke anzuziehen. Sieht gut aus, fühlt sich auch gut an, passt gut in den Rucksack und lässt sich ultra leicht verstauen, aber das war es dann auch schon. Ich kam in einen NIESELregen, der beständig anhielt, und fragte mich nach nicht mal fünf Minuten, ob ich spinne, denn mein Nacken und meine Arme fühlten sich feucht an... Tja, mein Mann hat im Genick gefühlt und ja, ich war komplett durchnässt. Keine Halluzination... Die Jacke hatte ich, da es eine wasserabweisende Regenjacke sein sollte, vorher auch nochmal schön imprägniert. Hat nichts geholfen. Könnte ich null Sterne geben, würde ich es tun, da sie den angegebenen Zweck absolut nicht erfüllt!!!

Qualità scadente

Qualità che non vale €25 e meno male che l’ho pagata scontata, perché costa di più in realtà il colore che mi piace di piu. I lacci fastidiosi sono troppo lunghi. Volevo effettuare un reso ma sinceramente non ho tempo per questo quindi me la tengo. Meno male che la taglia mi sta bene. Bisogna essere attenti e leggere di piu i commenti.
