If you’ve had hyperparathyroid surgery, buy this!

I had surgery for hyperparathyroidism a couple of months ago. I was told on no uncertain terms to keep my scar covered up to prevent skin darkening. I have been religious about sunscreen application, but, living in south Florida I needed a bit more protection. This gaiter fit the bill perfectly. It’s shape allows it to dip lower than most neck gaiters so it covers my incision site beautifully. It’s light, comfortable to wear, it’s not tight around my neck - indeed, it feels a bit loose, though not in a bad way. It also doesn’t make me feel overheated. I bought this and the white one, and I really wish it came in more colors/patterns because I’d buy them all. *I bought this with my own money. I have never asked for nor received anything for my honest opinions and reviews.*

Doesn’t stay well on face

Maybe it’s just me (I am Asian and have a flat nose) but it keeps falling off when I wear it as a face mask. I wish it had some sort of elastic bands over my ears to keep it on…. Sadly it didn’t work for me….

Best summer gaiter money can buy

Columbia makes quality stuff. this gaiter was bought for Covid, but I wear it fishing and golfing. Comfortable wearing on face or down around neck when distanced. I bought the L/XL and it is just barely tight enough especially after wearing for a few days. The measurement of the top is approx. 10.5 in, length is not an issue. A quick wash and rinse by hand and it tightens back up and stays on your nose. I would buy another one if I could find the same deal - but they are now $30 +.

The best gaiter out there!

I highly recommend this gaiter! Me and my husband are using it almost every day we each have two. They are very breathable but still work as a mask. They have slit on the side which allows the gaiter to fall naturally on your back and also protects your neck. We are running half marathon (me ) and ultramarathon (my hubby) in those. They are easy to pull up and down and they don’t stretch.

Perfect gaiter

It's very comfortable and looks great! Buy one you won't regret it. Note, this is a thin gaiter that doesn't meet "covid requirements" outside of being a face covering.

Nice gaiter with perforated nose area

Great gaiter, but the perforated section near the nose negates the reason I purchased these. (Coronavirus protection for work) I am keeping them for outdoor sports use (fishing/yardwork). Really wish the description CLEARLY stated these are perforated unlike their other gaiters I'm accustomed to.
