The only one with ball bearings for a smooth turn.
I drive a Volvo semi truck which has a long wheelbase. Usually, a 3 point turn becomes a 5 point turn, and I realized that I need some help from a spinner for the steering wheel. I first tried a cheaper one, but was disappointed at how flimsy it was. I upgraded to this Grand General spinner, and was happy with it for about 3 weeks. It started getting sloppy, even though it was the only one made with bearings for a smooth steering experience. I inspected it and found that the bearings were worn-out and thus, had too much play. It was too late to return it for replacement, so I ordered another one. Another problem, is that the small stainless steel screws for the clamp, screw into the aluminum threads. If you don't get it tightened the first time, they may strip the aluminum threads. It should have a very solid attached feeling to it and not be able to move once clamped to your steering wheel. The cheaper spinner had little nubs to help hold it to your wheel, while this brand has only a smooth chrome surface inside the clamp. So, THIS TIME, I used some double sided tape under the clamp, and seems to be holding in place pretty well, so far. Mine has made me it easier to park 53' trailers in small spaces, and it makes turning in intersections a lot easier and safer! I don't know why these are considered "illegal" in some states? I hope that this newer one lasts a lot longer than a month. Quality products are hard to find anymore. UPDATE: AUG.7, 2020 16 months later, my wheel spinner finally wore out. As I removed it from the steering wheel, the ball bearings fell out and I could see that the plastic where the shaft goes through had broken. Fortunately, I had bought an extra spinner just in case! As with the first one, this 2nd one has a slight bit of play in the shaft which causes a slight wobble, and could easily be adjusted by the manufacturer adding a thin stainless steel shim to fill in the gap. Also, the bearings are not as tight as they could be. I highly recommend replacing the Allen screws with some GOOD QUALITY stainless steel Allen screws in place of the cheap Chinese stainless steel screws that come with the device. The heads can strip. I also recommend using some Channel Lock adjustable pliers to squeeze the spinner clamp closed around your steering wheel, as you install the screws. That way you put less stress on the tiny screws. I also recommend using the pliers for removing the screws when necessary. Enjoy!????

The best overall!
A little difficult to install but once it’s on, its the most comfort, style and function of all others. Use crimper to squeeze them together, on the other hand screw in to start, and done.

Can’t install
My steering handle has just a tiny bit of an oval shape for ergonomics- this will only work on a perfectly roundshape. I went back to using my old knob.

One of the best ones out
This product suprize me with how well it was made, by far the smoothest rotations on a knob that I have ever bought. The knob is slightly large then I was expecting but it's shape feels very comfortable. It was fairly easy to install, and is very secure when installed properly. I have owned and been using this product for about 2 months now and it is worth every penny.

Use electrical tape (or similar ) instead so you can custom fit the wheel to desired thickness.
Feels better in the palm of the hand than the circular stirring wheel knobs. The rubber protection sleeves limit the thickness of the wheel. With tape your can customize the thickness.

Looks Good After a Bit of Tweeking
Screws in kit are cheap and will snap if you put any pressure on them. Recommend the first thing you do is go to a hardware store and either get black iron or stainless steel replacement screws. Think my unit slipped through the quality control process as there are a couple deep nicks on the sides of the clamp probably from a vise. Also the surfaces wouldn't match up so had to bend the hinge pin a bit. Other than those problems this is a great looking product.

not work on my 1985 ford truck
Is not easy to install and get a good tight grip to steering wheel. This is for steering wheels which are thicker it would not work on my 1985 ford truck
