Difficult to find the curved spoon

My daughter was on the phone - 'Mom - he won't feed himself' (10 months old). I said: Send me a picture of what he's doing. She did, and it was just a straight spoon. I told her that for the past 100 years, the curved spoon is the one that baby learn to hold himself. And also, most of the sterling silver antique spoons were and are in this shape. Well it worked, grandson can grab onto the spoon himself. I've purchased these in all three colors. Buying them for gifts now, since the shape is so hard to find. The padded part of the spoon is great. Stays on, and cleans with no problem. Grandson is teething now, so he loved to eat with this spoon. Great Set.

Good spoon, a little expensive

I like the curved spoon overall as I was looking for something easy for my 1 year old to hold that isn't plastic. I have 2 small gripes-- first, the spoon for the baby to use themselves barely has any indentation in the bowl part. Maybe that's on purpose so it's easier to scoop, but it makes it harder for food to stay in the spoon. I like the curved handle though and I do think its easier for my toddler to use to feed herself. Second is the price--$10 is a lot of money to pay for 2 spoons! Still, i'm keeping it for now.

bought this for my one year old to practice spoon feeding herself. the curved handle makes it easy for her to hold, and she likes to try feeding herself, even if she hasn't figured out the scooping motion quite yet. baby wants to do what mama does, so when i feed her with the same spoon, she's even more excited to feed herself. we hand wash ours, so i can't comment on how they would do in the dishwasher, but i'm very happy with this product.

Hard to find scoop spoon for self feeding

Hard to find the scoop spoon. Love the regular spoon as well so I get a "turn" and occasionally she wants to try theblong spoon too.

Great for teething young uns.

Our daughter enjoys using these. They silicone is soft and nice when they are teething. Is durable and does not show any chew marks even after she has chewed it. Washes in the dishwasher and the metal is nice and smooth so they can learn to use utensils themselves!

it worked!

My grandbaby took to holding the self feeding spoon right away. With encouragement and persistence she fed herself 4-5 times on the first attempts and, in between, I fed her with the other spoon - not letting her eat with her hands.

Great idea but the whole curved spoon doesn't really work. Otherwise the spoons are great quality and size.
