it does one thing very very well. cook a burger/hotdog/sausage.
this is my second forman grill.. first one cost 200 dollars 20-30 years ago.. the variable temp multi plate (5 different plates) grill . now it is impossible to get that first grill i owned. i guess they have so much problems with nonstick they really don't sell the plates for the one or two that do have multi plate. I did quit using the first grill cus of the cleaning task. so now i bought a new forman grill. my expectations were low. but i was pleasantly surprised.. from frozen to cooked well in 5-7 min buba burgers. I use tin foil to cover both plates (which are removable) so there is 0 cleaning except for the drip pan. so in 10 min i've cooked + cleaned up the grill (cept for letting it cool on stove) and eating my burger. Drawbacks 1. i wouldnt use this grill for un even things. For the top and bottom plate to contact (cooks from top and bottom heated plates) you basically need flat, uniform thickness things. like burgers boneless steaks, sausage, hotdogs etc. 2. there is only one setting.. ON or OFF. nothing in-between. you MUST monitor this while cooking there is no TEMP control except for time cooking. The grill DID put grill marks on my burgers 3. the outside DOES get hot.. not the handle for lifting the top to access or check your food.. but the rest of the grill so you can say pick it up and move it to stove-top (from counter) for safe un-supervised cooling after your done. Not so hot it will cause instant 3rd degree burns.. but hot enough you realize your hand should not be touching this. i'm talking about the outside of grill here.. not the cooking elements. AFTER cooking when i move the grill to stove from the counter, the counter top is warm.. not hot.. 4. no plastic scraper the original GFG came with.. yep they nickle dime-ing you. they charge 5-10 dollars separate for that now. just dont buy it.. use foil and there is nothing to scrape. you can stab and move your food with a fork.. just be careful not to scrape the grill plates. 5. it says 4 portion but on all george forman grills divide by 2. so you can cook 2 decent size burgers side by side on this comfortably.. or 4 cramped smaller burgers... I only cook one and feel i'm wasting half the grill (not 3/4 of the grill). 6. thin food like steakums only one plate will contact the food. not optimal. 7. never use metal utensils or nonstick sprays on your plates.. they will ruin the coating. You can buy NON stick foil.. tho i use regular foil and it separates easily enough (200 foot roll lasts LONG time!) . CONCLUSION: I LOVE THIS GRILL! NO FRILLS! perfectly cooked burger in min! With foil there is NOTHING TO CLEAN cept a drip tray. and now i'm gonna go cook a burger.. for real! on this grill!

George Foreman Grill Works Great!
Admittedly, upon unpacking my new George Foreman grill, I was a bit hesitant. My old grill (not the same maker) was much more solid and sturdier in comparison to this George Foreman grill. We gave it a few tries and I must admit, the George Foreman cooks burgers faster and better than our similar old countertop grill. Clean up is easier as well. The grease tray simply sets on the counter in front of the grill and we wish it attached to the grill in some way so it wouldn't accidently get bumped out of place while cooking. The grill plates seem a bit thin and we hope their non-stick surface lasts over time. Overall we'd give it 4.75 stars out of 5.

Simple and classic.
Had one years ago and got rid of it during a move. Then my husband decided he wanted “grill lines” on sliced vegetables but we live in an apartment and can’t have a grill indoors. Buying the George Foreman grill was my solution. It works great. It’s basically the same product it was 20 years ago. It hasn’t changed much in design or function. It works well. We use it all the time for grilling chicken filets and sliced veggies. It’s simple to cook evenly without over cooking. Cleanup is very easy. Highly recommend for all skill levels from cooking beginners to experienced chefs who are looking for another way to prepare food.

Size of serving says 4
This machine says it serves 4 and that’s not true. You can only put two decent sized hamburgers on at a time or one good size steak for size reference. Ideal for a single person for one meal or if you have time to cook more. I’m having to buy the model that serves Six with removable plates now because my Grandkids are really loving grilled foods now (my fault).Those teenaged Grandkids said the days of charcoal, lighter fluid, propane are gone. I agree. Electric grills are perfect for fast indoor cooking, minimum smoke, no setup time required, no constant attention needed and once you get your (not all the time) seasoning,marinating technique and cooking time down pat-no one will be able to tell the difference except a chef or meat connoisseur.

Great product.
I love this grill. It's simple to use and easy to clean. I don't have a toaster, so I use my grill for grilled cheese sandwiches, panini sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches. I also grill fish and hamburgers, etc. The best feature is that it's so easy to clean. I also prop it upright against the counter wall when not in use.

DARN!
I broke my old George Forman, actually cat pushed it off the counter. I thought I would upgrade and get a bigger one. It is the same size as the one I broke. I thought this one was going to be bigger. It stated 4 servings. I didn't pay attention enough to the size. If you are making slider size burgers then it will hold 4 but not real size burgers or steaks or chicken breast. My old one lasted me many years and I hope this one is of the same quality. If not I'll be upgrading sooner

Works really well and is convenient!
Very convenient for making quick meals. Did steaks, sausages and some veggies as well. It works well enough and is easy to clean, but the quality doesn't seem the greatest. I also don't like how there isn't a power button or temperature control. Yes, it makes it easier to use but the moment you plug it in it goes full-power. Overall, it is a really handy appliance to have around, especially if its too cold out to BBQ. The size is good for making meals for two people.

Sandwich maker shorted and does not work anymore
Hi, The sandwich maker shorted and has now stopped working. The adapter that was sent also was burnt. I have tried to get this repaired but no one is accepting this since this is imported. I would like to return this product.

Fast! Convenient
Stunk bad first use. This is normal. Plugged it in outside to warm up. Works awesome and saves money. No more oven needed for chicken. Easy to clean removable plates a bonus.

ZERO STAR - Horrible Product and supplier
Product stopped working. Exborders did not even want to listen; said this is not under warranty which is strange. Amazon is not providing any support either. They even offered a bribe to give Rs. 1000 to avoid my bad feedback on the amazon page.

I love the George Forman grill. Great for searing meats, quick and easy to use. Does not have a temperature control but does a good job cooking meat
