They're great for slivers

Fine for craft or hobby work
This set of forceps is perfect for the hobbiest or craftsperson or perhaps a watch/clock maker. They are study and are provided in a variety of sizes and shapes. However, you should be aware, assuming that the price has not tipped you off already, that these are not surgical-grade instruments. They are not finely finished, for example, and machine marks are visible on some of the handles. The points on my set were well aligned but the teeth (for the toothed forceps) do not come together perfectly as one would expect had they been purchased from a medical supply house. These are highly recommended as a good buy for non-critical use.

A quality product
A very good product for the price.Tweezers work well and all tips line up.Unless you want to spend a lot more money the tweezers are very good value at this price point,I own a few General products and all still work after years of use and see no reason to think the tweezers will be any different

Excellent tool pack!
There were two tweezers in the set with which I had no prior knowledge; the offset end and the locking tweezer. The offset end permitted me ot access places that hereto fore were almost inaccessible, the locking tweezer was like having a third hand. The longest of the set likewise made it easier to access places, and all of the tweezers gripped well. I an working with thread and very small parts on ship models These are all excellent tools for fine work.

Goodbye General Tools! Not what you once were ????
I’ve always liked General Tools for home use and the uniqueness of their products. Sadly, several years back, it has been my experience that their products have become nothing more than “HF” use a few times and throw away tools! These tweezers were no exception. They were cheaply made, materials and “craftsmanship” and will most likely be the last General Tool product I buy. The tweezers were barely welded together, having gaps where they were joined. However, the biggest problem for me was the finish quality. There were actual metal shards were they quickly brushed the weld through a belt sander(?) in order to smooth the joint. These metal shards are extremely sharp and pierced my skin enough to draw blood! Needless to say, I wasn’t happy at all! Finally, I realize I’m not buying Swiss watchmaking quality, but these were very poorly made and dangerous!

You'll love the precision of these tweezers but be careful with that sharp tip.
Tweezers aren't all created equally! These are durable, easy to use, and require some 'care' if you're using them to remove facial hair. I've not injured myself with these babies but I'm VERY careful as the tip is extremely sharp. Having stated that warning, these tweezers are the best I've found. Yes, I know there are dozens of uses for tweezers and I frequently find myself reaching for these to manipulate small materials but this tool is also remarkably adept at removing facial hair.

Excellent tool
I quilt. I bought this tweezers to pick up threads on projects. Some times using your hands just does not work. The precision points on this tool do work. I'm not trying to work or pick up anything heavy. What I wanted was something that would hold a thin piece of thread and move it where I wanted it moved. This tweezers does that perfectly. The points are thin and perfectly alined.
