Way to over-priced. I would suggest a generic dial instead.
The thermostat dial on my GE Hot-Point oven had been cleaned so many times that the white numbers and setting indicators had been erased! I had many replacement choices here on Amazon. This particular dial was in the mid-price range and a genuine GE part. It is a good and well made part, but I should have considered the other choices. For the price of this one item (total $24.60) I could have purchased a set of (5) OEM generic dials for $10.45.ERP KN002 Electric Range Burner Knob Kit . In hind sight I wish I had. Seriously, $25 for a piece of plastic! If I had to replace the thermostat I would purchase a genuine GE part, but not for a dial. It is a well made part and fits my Hot-Point ovens' thermostat perfectly. I only hope the white indicator settings last longer this time.

Exact Fit
The original oven knob temperature numbers had worn off after years of cleaning it. I ordered this replacement at a great price and if was identical to the old one I removed. Thank you for the quick shipment and quality item.

Works as intended
I wasn't too sure about his one when I looked at the reviews. The quality seemed questionable. It does see a litter lighter weight than the GE part but seeing that the only other part that I could find was over $60 I gave this a shot. It seems fine to me. I will keep the old one around just in case. The originals temp numbers wore off but it held together.

Works precisely as desired
Not a whole lot more one can write about an oven knob. O knob! Wondrous knob! In what wretched mists of desolate cynicism I was left with the knob I purchased before it! Alas, the dastardly previous knob broke - torn asunder, cracked like a hen's egg after but a mere handful of uses. But this - forsooth! A mighty replacement indeed, exacting in specification, gloriously finished with the finest patina, and it does not break! It turns, and renders an accurate reading, a joy to perceive! O wondrous knob!

It's a knob
This part number is what our range manual listed as our replacement part. However, even adjusted as far as possible, our thermostat is still about 25 degrees off. Easy to remedy, as long as I remember. I just set the oven to 400 instead of 425, and use a rack thermometer to check if it needs adjusting once it is preheated, before baking.

Did not work
Quality is ok however it does that fit a Tappan stove.

Exactly the same knob as our previous one!
Almost all of the numbers and marking had been rubbed off the knob. This replacement was exactly the same as the original! It’s so nice to be able to see the degree marks instead of just guessing and hoping for the best!

Pleased with purchase
It was exactly what we wanted and needed for our rental home stove... We moved in and it came with a generic dial and we had to wing it, it made the WORLD of a difference to get!!! It works GREAT!!! Would buy again... The property owners should have provided but that's ok...
