Great for traveling
On my 2nd because I dropped the first in an airplane. Used this for years in Afghanistan. I had to sleep in transient tents with people coming and going all times of night with the lights on as well as me needing to sleep at strange times. I could always rely on this for an uninterrupted nights sleep. It is very comfy and light on the face. After years of abuse the inner cloth lining is coming loose on the inside from the foam that makes up the shape. I could probably glue it back on or sew it if I wanted. Hasn't bugged me much yet. I take one star off because, at least for my face, it leaks light in where my nose meets my face. Tend to think I have a fairly average size nose. It's just a little light which stands out more because it does such a great job blocking all the other light. It was mainly an issue for me because I would be sleeping on a bunk bed with fluorescent lights hanging in line with me near my feet which would shine straight up the tiny crack. If I slept with the top of my head facing any direction but away from the light I was fine. Probably not going to be an issue for most people.

Doesn't last long
Multiple layers of fabric delaminate after about 90 nights use. Not what I would expect at this price point.

Comfortable and does the job.
I bought this to replace an aging Z-mask that I've had for about a year. I work (and sleep) odd hours, so I needed something to block out light. With the way it's shaped, it's very comfortable to wear and sleep in, although I'd suggest putting the strap over rather than behind the ears. They can get uncomfortable if you shift around as you sleep. And with the way it is contoured, you can cinch it up pretty firmly without putting pressure on your eyes. With the way it's shaped, it's much more comfortable than others I've tried over the years. I use it about three out of every four weeks, and it started to show signs of wear after six months. At first, the elastic strap began to lose its, well, elasticity, which meant the plastic buckle would slowly lose its grip during my sleep period. The last few months the layers of the mask began to de-laminate, but it still retained its overall shape and still served its purpose. Even with its shortcomings, I'd still buy it again simply because it's a bargain. I'll happily spend a few dollars every year or so for the benefits.

Love/Hate issues.
I was looking for some Gear Aid repair products and I ran across this on their website. It looked like something I'd been trying to find for a long time so I ordered it. I work second shift, and if I work overtime after, I don't get home until 3 am, and I'll sleep until almost noon. I have room darkening drapes in my bedroom, but I needed something more. Then I found this mask. Here's the good: Okay, I have to say, I was elated at how well it did what I needed. It cut out almost 100 percent of the light during the day by itself. And I didn't even have to tighten the elastic strap. I use a biPap with a nasal pillow mask when I sleep. If I put the Z-mask on first, then the BiPap mask, I get complete blackout. No light at all as the BiPap mask helps to seal the Z-mask on either side of my nose. I am In love with this mask. EXCEPT....... THE BAD!! I was using this every night, and after about 2 months, I noticed that the inner nylon lining was separating from the foam core! After about six months, It was almost completely separated. If I use it now, I have to be careful how I put it on or the nylon will bunch up against my face. It is now almost a year old, and I only use it now when I really have to. I would love to buy another one, but I can't justify spending the money on something that has such a short lifespan. Suggestions: I'm not an expert in manufacturing processes and I don't know if it is even feasible, but maybe a sewn edge to prevent delaminating, or a better adhesive when the layers are sandwiched together might help. If McNett would like to send me a replacement to try I would love to update this review.

Keeps most light out
I had the older version of this mask and it needed replaced. The design was different but it still works the same. It's not form fitting so it'll still let in a little light. Its soft and comfortable.

Best sleeping mask ever
I have tried many, many sleeping masks and this is the only one that works for me. It is very comfortable (not tight) on the eyes and the contouring around the nose ensures that light stays out. My husband can turn the overhead light on in the bedroom and it won't even wake me up. I keep one in my nightstand and one in my travel bag.

Nice for a few months, then fell apart.
I have enjoyed this mask, as it gives 90% complete darkness, which I need to sleep. The eye indentions are large enough to where it doesn't press at all on my eyes or obstruct my lashes (which are longer than normal at the moment as I'm using a lash-boosting serum regularly). It doesn't smudge my eye cream (mostly - have to make sure not to use too much close to cheek bone). It mostly doesn't come off, very rarely. The only problem I have is that the fabric is peeling apart at the nose, and a little at the top. I imagine I can glue after I wash it by hand, but I've only had it for a couple of months, and haven't done any extreme wear, so that's a bummer. It's like a neoprine fabric, but layered with a small layer of foam, I think. UPDATE: This mask has fallen apart very quickly. It occasionally falls off, but is remedied for the most part with strap adjustment. I find it does give near total darkness. Fabric is almost completely peeled around the edges. Had to resort to hot gluing around the edge. In market for a new one now :(

GREAT fit and blocking BUT.... delamination
without washing at all.. always wash by hand, don't wring dry... it still delaminated within 3 months, twice (from 2x purchases) I owned this same mask (brand & maker) and it would last for at least a year. very disappointed in the current quality.

Ligeras y comodas
Deacuerdo a imágenes, buen envió. Son cómodas en espacio en ojos y de material suave y ligero. 4 estrellas porque se filtra luz a los lados de fosas nasales.

I like that this sleep mask is confortable and light
I like that this sleep mask is confortable and light. There is some light leakage around the nose but this is always the case with all the product I tried. Very good to help block light if I need to sleep during daytime after night shifts.

Good nap
This is great for those who hate the feeling of material rubbing your eyelashes. Blocks out light in a plane and easy on the eyes.

Worth every penny.
Bought this for my husband while on midnights... He says this works great... Blocks out almost all light... Says there's a little that comes in through the most I area but otherwise fantastic.
