Genuine Looking part, damaged in box
Our GE washer had an issue where it failed to drain properly. This was confirmed by running the drain pump test in Service Mode. At first we thought it was a faulty door lock, as it would not open. Turns out this was the washer trying to prevent our laundry room from being flooded. Accessing the pump to replace it wasn't terribly difficult. There are a number of screws and panels that come off. I also removed the front panel and undid the rubber gasket seal to take off the door. Once the front was off, the pump was easy to reach. A few rubber clamps and two screws and it was out. Installing the new one was easy too - I recommend using your phone to take a few photos before taking it apart, for reference. Once the new pump was in, it immediately passed the pump test and the unit returned to full usage. The only odd aspect was the pump itself. The Amazon box was pristine as was the pump's box inside. However, on the pump itself, two mounting tabs were broken off. I was still able to install it securely, but I wonder if it was a damaged/scratch-and-dent/open box part that was relabeled as new. The bubble wrap on the pump was perfect too. Maybe this was just an odd, one-off event, but I am mentioning it anyway. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. The pump shipping and arrived quickly, when other competitive websites said it was globally on back-order. It installed easy and worked on the first try. I'd buy this unit from this seller again, if I had another to repair.

The original pump in our washer pooped out after 9 years of use. The little mini 'turbine' inside was stripped at the base somehow (inside the pump housing) and even though it looked like it was turning, when my hubby tested to see if it was connected, he found it wasn't. So, we ordered this pump and it came quickly per the Prime shipping. However, the pump was shattered on the outer parts, especially where the electrical connections were. We were able to send it back immediately and get a replacement, and Amazon appears to have even not charged us for the next day shipping charge---VERY nice, since we had been without our washing machine for quite a few days and the hamper was piling up!! The replacement pump arrived yesterday in great shape, thankfully, hubby installed it quickly and easily and we are back in business!!! There is a video on the web of how to install it--just do a Google search and you'll find it. I think it was on the GE site, although hubby didn't use the video initially because it was pretty easy to figure out. SO happy we didn't panic by calling a repair man! Saved a lot of money, and the part was cheaper here than anywhere else I looked by at least $30! Very happy to have our washing machine back in service!!

Perfect replacement at the lowest cost available AND with quick and free delivery.
By purchasing this OEM replacement pump assembly and a 5-10 minute removal and 5-10 minute install time we are able to extend the life of our 12 year old washer. This extended life of the equipment will allow us to make sound, economical decisions to ensure we replace the old appliances with high quality products when there may be significant price advantages to enjoy. Nothing worse than being forced to make major purchase decisions under time sensitive conditions, you tend to spend more for less and suffer for it just because it's actually available NOW.

It fits.
Easy to install. You will need a screwdriver and channel lock,I'm not a plumber but it is simple to install. There is no manual for this so I recommend you searching for YouTube video's to help.

Easy fix for a costly issue
This part easy to fix the broken washing machine which was caused by a blocked drain tube which caused the motor to burn out. All that was needed was a set of pliers and a screwdriver to fix an expensive machine. It has been working for a couple of months with out issue. Note: Take a picture before removing to make it easy to put back in place; the motor is not polorized so connecting it up is fool proof. Also, take a look to see if you just need to replace the motor which is also available on Amazon. Of course I could not rate it a 5 since the manufacturing of this pump should create a better drain system in general.

Such an easy fix
If your washer is filled with water, don't call a handyman, don't look for a replacement. Just head here, purchase this pump and block out seven minutes for installation. It's incredible easy and the washer is back up and running 100%.

Easy to install
Came right away. Came exactly as the picture was shown. Very easy to install, saved me a lot of money doing it myself rather getting a professional to come in and doing it for me. I have been using it for a couple of weeks so far and With no issues.
