Love it!
I have used Gardena products for years and they have always held up well and I love the quick connection between their products. The only downside to this item for me is that it’s made in China and not Germany like the other items I have, for the price…. It being made in China should have been cheaper but the price is still higher than others made in China. I’ve learned my lesson and if I’m going to pay a higher price, I expect it to be made where they say it is.

Great Hose Nozzle
Very unique nozzle locks with water on on first squeeze, then squeeze again to turn off - this feature saves your grip when using for longer periods. Nozzle seals well with no drips. Nozzle is very durable.

Excellent spray nozzle!
I've become an avid fan of the Gardena system since trying out one of their spray guns and some of the quick disconnects. I don't usually use a spray nozzle like this model, but for some tasks, it really is better than anything else, so I decided to pick this up and give it a try. Why not have one more quick-disconnect accessory to play around with, after all? I was pleasantly surprised to find that this actually does the job extremely well, in fact better than some of the brass nozzles I have used in the past. You get a lot of power on the jet/pinpoint stream setting, in fact more power and narrower stream than you can achieve with, say, their trigger-style, 3-in-1 sprayer on the same stream setting. This makes it excellent for things like cleaning/pressure washing. The wider fan settings are also good, giving you an easy way to handle most watering tasks if you don't have a spray gun around. You also get pretty easy one-handed operation, unless you have unusually large/small hands. I saw reviewers state that it was an issue to adjust without using both hands, but I did not encounter that problem at all. And, in case anyone is wondering, yes, you can shut the sprayer completely off/closed by turning it all the way. Works perfectly and no leaks. As others have noted, the mechanism in this nozzle has one peculiarity, in that if you shut off the water and turn it back on, you get the jet/pinpoint stream setting again, regardless of where the nozzle is set (say a wide, fan setting). I was not able reproduce this by simple snagging the hose, as some suggested, but if you completely cut off the flow, it can happen. What you need to do is then turn/twist the sprayer completely off, then re-open / twist back to your desired setting. It's a little annoying, yes, but honestly I don't know how much of an issue it really is. Are you going to snag the hose in the middle of watering something? Probably not. Are you going to have the sprayer running while walking around and when the hose might actually have a chance of getting snagged? Probably not. Even if you snag the hose, will it be bad enough to completely cut the pressure off and cause this hiccup issue? Probably not, especially with pressure in the hose. Bottom line, I watered my whole backyard with this thing today, including moving around, purposely snagging the hose, purposely trying to bend it and cause this issue, and I wasn't able to do it. The only thing that worked was shutting it off at the hose bib/spigot and turning it back on. My humble opinion, but the few reviews that harp on this seem to be making a mountain out of a mole hill, and downplaying the really good features of this nozzle. It's well made (in Germany!), has a very nice grip, is easy to operate with one hand and gives you all the patterns you could possibly want for in a nozzle of this type. Output is very narrow and powerful on the stream setting and works superbly for cleaning and blasting away dirt on pavement/sidewalks/etc. A nozzle like this has its place and if you use the Gardena system of quick disconnects, you really shouldn't be without one of these. Well made and well functioning, I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Much preferred over any brass model I've used before and any of the plastic import junk at the stores.

Review from a Newby Gardena user
Wanderer gave a very accurate description from an experienced Gardena product user..it is well worth reading. I'll add the perspective of a newby Gardena product user. My first thought on this product was, "You want me to spend HOW MUCH for a stupid hose nozzle!!??" and I continued to use a big box store hose nozzle. I previously bought the Gardena 8893 grass trimmer after much gnashing of teeth at the cost but finally made the purchase when I saw a reviewer noting Gardena is associated or made by Husqvarna; this company produces high quality products that are worth the cost. The trimmer has been well worth the cost. But over $30 for a stupid hose nozzle??? The grass trimmer at least whirrs and has blades and cuts things so I could justify the cost. But a hose nozzle?? That was until I dropped the hose with box store nozzle and once again it landed on the handle and promptly sprayed me and because the stupid handle stuck on I really got sprayed. I picked it up and whacked it on the ground several times and went inside to order the Gardena nozzle. This Gardena sprayer has been great! I was amazed at how fine of a spray mist it creates and could easily adjust it for a heavier stream that looked similar to a rain fall. The strongest or jet stream was excellent and far surpasses all of the box store nozzles I have used in the past. I really like the ability to adjust the flow volume by the red knob on the back of the sprayer. I can slow the water flow down to a trickle to water a small pot or young plant rather than blasting the soil out. It is comfortable in the hand. Even the colors work well as it isn't garish but the red/orange makes it easy to see in the grass...this is important because this thing costs too much to accidentally run it over with the lawnmower Is there anything to improve? Maybe the spray adjustment and the flow adjustment are a bit tight to turn but this should not be an issue unless one has arthritis. By the way, the quick connect fitting. I've gone through a bunch of different brands of both plastic and metal quick connects. All ended up leaking or breaking or no longer worked. I really like this Gardena connector. It uses an O ring as a seal which is better technology than any of the big box quick connects. Yes, the O ring is rubber and will deteriorate over several years, but it can be replaced very easily. I am impressed with the ease of connecting and disconnecting the nozzle from the hose. The connect has a locking position that if engaged, will prevent the nozzle from accidentally coming off. The connect included with the nozzle does not allow water to flow unless there is a nozzle or other fitting attached. Sometimes, I have needed to attach a nozzle to another brand connect with the hose pressurized. It is a pain and usually water squirts all over. I was able to connect this nozzle to the quick connect fitting on the pressurized hose with only minor water leakage. Will I buy this sprayer again? Yes. Will I complain about the cost? Yes. But this is truly a product in which you get what you pay for.

Disappointingly poor on Durability
I bought one in June 2021 and some additional units in 2022 (keeping one in reserve). One of them has already started leaking, with water pouring out when you turn it on. So assuming it is the unit I bought in 2021, you cannot expect these to last for more than a season or two. This is disappointing. It is designed and engineered in Germany, but clearly made somewhere else, likely China (the packaging does not even specify where it is made). It is not clear if it is a manufacturing or design issue. I don't know where the "METAL" resides, it all looks like plastic.

Brand new nozzle leaks from handle
Ordered two of these in May 2022. One was leaking from the seam on the handle (right out of the package), Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement is leaking in the exact same spot. Seems to be a defect that needs to be addressed.

Easy use for even small kids hands
These are great for everyday use. What I like best is they are easy for my kids to use. A lot of the trigger pulls and others are difficult for small hands. My kids have learned to use these and adjust the amount of pressure as needed.

Great nozzle.
I bought 2. One for the house and one for the RV. My wife likes using this for her garden and flower pots. I think it does a great job for washing the truck.

It's a great product
I just think it lacks pressure, the jet doesn't shoot far.

Great!!!!!
The water power is strong and easy to use, no need to hold it all the time to get the water anymore.
